Ok, even if he does deserve a rematch, would anyone on here pay another 15 quid to watch it? And that is why it wont happen.

i think everyone understands that its not financially the best option for golden boy or khan- but the thing is, is this business or sport? the lad trains all his life for one shot at the top-and that is how it ends? he deserves a rematch- we all know khan(and i like khan)wouldnt be stopped which such a cut, so why should Paul??

Sadly its a business. If it doesnt make financial sense, it doesnt happen.

Plus, as a sports/boxing fan, id rather see Amir unify against bradley and move up to challange the Welters rather than see him rematch a guy he won every round against.

"Sky made a big mistake. Golden Boy have an extensive library of fights. We have over 100 fighters most are world champions and we are going to sit down and work something out with Primetime now. We appreciate the fact they stuck behind Amir Khan. We know they want to be a boxing player- well they have the biggest boxing promoter in the world telling you right now we will work together. That is the bottom line."

we also know Khan wouldn't go into a fight and stand out of range barley throwing a punch.

Beleive me if McCloskey had even been remotley competative up to that point the fight would have contuinued. when a journeyman is fighting a prospect out of his depth they stop fights quickly for little reason.

Will Golden Boy really be so stupid to let Amir Khans ignorant team force them to no longer have a relationship with Sky Sports??

    Isn't Haye with Goldenboy lol

What do you suggest him do, fight in Northern Island against a Euro level opperator at best? It's much better for him to fight a Peterson or Kotelnik on the undercard. If he wants a rematch, he can earn one.
