I think a lot of things describe Vitali Klitschko. "Toughness" and "heart" is not one of them. Wlad, to me, has always shown far more heart in the ring than Vitali.

It's not like Vitali made up for this fight either. When has he ever had to "will" his way to victory? Everytime he has been challenged, he has lost.

So what? he redeemed himself vs lennox, came back from a 4 year lay off due to injuries and dominated every opponent rarely giving up a round eventhough he is almost 40. Vitali is a tough man, one mistake in the 90's doesnt change that.

How isn't he? He's more durable, he's more willing to engage and take risks etc. The only thing you have on him is that he quit with a shoulder injury, and unless Wlad had been in the exact same position then you can't just assume he's have fought on

I will never understand that quit job at all. Given the fact that he was ahead by far in the fight I feel as a fighter he could have easily danced his way to a win using just his left to keep Byrd at bay, seen fighters do this time and again. I like Vitali, and I'm sure he regrets that decision, but in this sport with unforgiving fans I'm sure it really hurt his status for good. Even though he's come back, showed iron balls against Lewis, took time off and came back again and keeps winning it will never be enough in the eyes of most boxing fans. Very hard to argue that he showed heart there, yes I think he learned a lot from it and I still like to watch him fight and think he's really good, but this one I just can't understand, I may have felt different about it if Byrd was beating him up badly and then he quit, but he was still winning easily with that injury and wasn't taking any bad punishment at all. Disappointing to say the least.

Wlad fights scared, he can easily knock his opponent out early if he wants to and throws a hook or uppercut yet he sticks with the jab and occasional right hand. He wins rounds because of it but he doesnt take a risk cause he is scared to get dropped by something coming back. thats why chambers almost finishes the fight and steward was ****ing pissed because he didnt let his hands go eventhough he could have finished him in round 2. If wlad does get hit by something big he looks like a deer infront of a car with his eyes all open. And he has been kncoked out several times.
eventhough its great that he has found a style that works for him its clear he was made into a boxer while vitali seems more the natural fighter that just likes to fight people and **** them up.
He got mad when solis couldnt continue because he hadnt punished him enough. Vitali is more mean and likes to fight more, him quiting because of a shoulder injury 13 years ago doesnt change this. Wlad is a good guy but vitali is the tougher one of the 2 bro's.
