    (reported by the scenesters)

A meeting with Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam has yet again been delayed as Golovkin continued to struggle with his promoter. Golovkin is known for his crushing power, timing and accuracy - but thus far has won and defended his title against challengers deemed unworthy by most.

The inconsistent but almost universally beloved Ouma has fought at middleweight twice before: unsuccessfully challenging then-undisputed/linear champion Jermain Taylor and losing a decision in 2006, and again in his most recent outing when he knocked out never-previously-stopped fringe contender Joey Gilbert to seize the NABA (N. American) 160lb title. Ouma is known as much for his frequent lack of focus and drive in the ring as he is for his positives (which include great workrate and stamina to go along with an excellent chin and a refusal to quit even when being severely punished and/or outclassed).

On the one hand, Ouma is still capable of performing up to his potential now and then - as shown when he pushed Vanes Martirosyan to the limit in a controversial decision loss last January (and the good result over Gilbert, although he had to get off the canvas to earn it). On the other, if he can not find enough inspiration in the WBA regular title to perform at his best - and even if he does, really - a very well-liked figure in the sport could be heading into an absolutely gruesome predicament.

I know Golovkin has issues with his promoter but I think N'Jikam wants none of him. It's a ****ing travesty to see someone as talented as Golovkin being ****ed about like this. His career will be over before he knows it. I think he can beat anyone at 160, including Maravilla.

If Golovkin stops Ouma, it would make quite a statement.

    I'll take Golovkin on points.

Ouma can still produce a good effort when he feels like it, like he did against Vanes but I think he's in over his head here. Hopefully he can perform well enough to bring the best out in GGG but I really can't see him winning.

I'm starting to think that we'll never see Golovkin, Sturm or N'kijam in the ring with each other.

He is on Youtube, and usually ends takes care of business quickly enough to stay under the standard 10 minute video upload limit.

If it goes the distance, there's a chance Ouma could pull it out with a full night's worth of good solid work (assuming he doesn't get decked). It's a very big "if", however. Ouma has often relied on his ability to withstand blunt force trauma rather than conventional defense, and Golovkin is not the type you want to get hit by easily or often.

IMO the only truly shocking outcome here would be Ouma winning by KO. Anything else is fair game.

Golovkin has beaten Andy Lee, Korobov, Dirrell, and Bute (by TKO at that) as an amateur and his style looks even better suited to the pros. pisses me off how little exposure he's gotten :fire

That is getting my vote, but with my fingers crossed that it's wrong.

    This could be really sad.

Well, Kassim isn't exactly a top middleweight at the moment but surely he counts as a step up from Milton Nunez and Nilson Julio Tapia?

Oh yeah...what's with Golovkin booking his second flight in less than a year to the same country? :?

Why not have this in Germany? Or better yet, Las Vegas? (raising Golovkin's profile in the US and potentially bringing a TV network into the fold)

    Why have it down in...

    Golovkin, leave your management team.
It's been a few years now that I've been looking forward to seeing you actually test your abilities.
