Sorry to pick on you Manning as you're present in this thread, but this comment about Vitali Klitschko made me want to see VK get a massive drubbing:

I'd love to see him laid out based on that one sentence.

i think the thing about lee is steward has been shitein on about him bein the next de la hoya and all that bollox in ireland for years and dat got people jumpin on the hype train
also he is a better fighter than hes shown in his bigger fights in my oppinion although he did look fairly brutal in the middle rounds against mcewan

 

The one punch ko of Carl daniels is what got people on the hype train. Nobody listens to Manny steward.

I cringed when he was on irish telly the 1st time talking about Lee being the best middle in world.

I was only starting to watch boxing again and i knew he was talking crap as Lee finished that fight with cuts above his eyes and got hit way to much.

It had nothing to do with Manny steward for reason that the Irish Like/follow Lee. It was the one punch Ko. That kind of one punch ko power turns heads, not the words of old little black guy that nobody knows.

One of the best ameuters the sport has ever seen, going into the fight unbeaten, destroyed in 1 round.


Arreola

Undefeated south paw KO master, smashed and crushed in every round, left in tears in the end, Vitali bullied this chap like he was in a school yard.


Gomez

Long standing CW king, probably one of the 3 best cw ever, moved up to heavy and also built up a good run taking out decent opposition, lost every round to Vitali then brutually ko'd in the 9th.


Peter

The favourite going into his fight with Vitali, seen by some as the new George Foreman after ending the last great hope for the anglosphere in Jame Tony, putting him away twice, the second with amazing ease.
Toally destroyed by Vitali, lost ever round, the king has returned.

Sanders

Coming of his win over an ATG Sanders threw the kitchen sink at Vitali, but to no avail, flattened in the 8th round.



Hide

Long standing World champion, I believe Vitali was something like a 6/1 shot going into this fight, BOOM! Vitali blasted him out in 2 rounds, almost murdering poor Hide in the process.


It's time you let go of your hate for this great champion, you really shouldn't be such a bigot, it's time you give some credit to great fighters outside of the anglosphere. Bigotry has no place in boxing.
