So what happened with the N'Jikam fight for July? Is it strictly because he's tied up in court with Universum that no major promoter or network will touch him? It was reported he didn't get the Rubio fight last year on the Pac undercard because of visa issues but then he trains regularly in the US, and I know his team has expressed intrest in fighting Manfredo this summer but now Ouma in Panama? I'm afraid he's going to get stripped of the WBA title and forever freezed out fights with Sturm and N'Jikam.

Gena is always respectful never underestimates an opponent and neither overestimates his own power and always prepares to go the distance. Lemieux just lost because hes dumb as ****. Golovkin aint the guy who regulary wins shootout decisions either, he tends to stay in the half distance right in front of his opp while lurking for a knockout and often gives rounds away when things are going his way too much. I think he´ll stop Ouma. if not he´ll win some 9-3 type decision..

Ouma will, he tested Taylor's and Vanes' abilities pretty good! :deal Golo I THINK is on his own now, but either case, he wants Hassan N'Dam who doesn't share the same feelings, so GGG takes on Ouma until the WBA forces matters. I think after a couple of spirited rounds with Kassim's workrate giving Golovkin some problems GGG figures the timing and angles out and knocks Ouma out around R7. I like this fight.

He's appealing Universum's victory in court that they still promote him, so he can't fight in Germany or the US, and he can't have any major promoters involved in his fights. I do wish he'd just head back to Germany and finish up his contract there though. He's going to lose in an unappealable fashion eventually and serve out the rest of it.

If Golovkin really is the goods, he'll knock out Ouma or at least drop him a couple of times.

This statement rings especially true in light of the so-so Gilbert managing to drop the once iron-jawed warrior a few months ago.

It might have been just a flash knockdown, however - as he doesn't appear too beat up in the post-fight interview (exhibiting just his usual level of dopiness):

That's crazy that he started out a 2-1 underdog against Gilbert!

Hopefully he's really serious about being rededicated and comes in 100% against Golovkin (ie no :rasta bull****)

Good fight this and, good on Ouma and his management for actually making this fight happen, there are a lot of Middleweights out there that are dodging Golovkin like the plague,it's a fair dinkum tragedy we have not seen more of this bloke his inactivity and lack of opponents must be starting to frustrate him.

Like Ouma a lot but with Golovkins huge power in both hands He will have to keep moving for most of the fight,Golovkin by KO.!!!!

Golovkin is good, but he's not anywhere near Martinez's level yet. I don't know what you guys have seen in him to make you think that he is.

He's still a quality fighter though, and probably the best Middleweight prospect by some distance.

I can't take anything away from Martinez's accomplishments over Pavlik and Williams, but I do think he is overrated in regards to being unbeatable at MW. Golovkin and Pirog are very sound and experienced due to their amateur backgrounds (which Martinez had little of). Add to the fact they're naturally bigger than Sergio and have superior power and a strong mental approach to their craft, I would favor either over Martinez as of now.

You don't have to look any further than the unknown, usually boring style, inactive junior middle weight -Dzinzurik getting the fight with Martinez over Pirog, and then Dibella rants about how Pirog won't get a shot at Sergio because he's nothing, all despite his exciting HBO KO of a hyped star in Jacobs.

If Golovkin finally breaks free of Universum, expect him to sign with Top Rank right away. They showed interest in him last year.
