    The point is England was considered for the first go round. It even seemed to be the preferred venue. Davey boy dropped the thing like a hot potato because he wasn't about to put up money the way Wlad was for a venue. He seemed to have no faith it would sell out in England.

    Hmm, Sturm vs. Macklin is planned to take place at the same day. I see no way that SAT1 (they'll show the Sturm fight in Germany) will compete with the Klitschko vs. Haye bout that is shown on RTL.

    If Klitschko vs. Haye actually takes place at 2nd of July, I'm pretty sure that Sturm vs. Macklin will be rescheduled with some lame cover up excuse.

    Germany is perfect for a fight of this magnitude and Hamburg is a beautiful city.

    Yes, because fights in Germany have a 'big fight' feel. Give me one fight in Germany with the atmosphere of Hatton/Tszyu, Benn/Eubank or Bruno/McCall?

    well Jack atleast there aren't lots of hooligans who go to fights in Germany. Germany seems to have a much classier audience.

    I'd pick that anyday over football holigans starting fights and throwing beer at people.

    100 percent if the fight was in England there would be fights, especially after Wlad ko's Hayefaker.

    :lol::rofl:patsch

    Jack do you complain about everything on here? Geez. And Hatton/Tszyu was one of the most disgraceful performances by a referee I have ever seen. Simply disgusting.

    Are you kidding me? Hooliganism is pretty much dead in Britain and it's rare that a big fight kicks off. I don't remember any crowd trouble in recent history, apart from a few drunken idiots but you're going to get that anywhere. I've attended one foreign fight and there was violence there but who cares? People are drunk, it's a macho sport, so of course you're going to get a few idiots, just like you do in a bar. Lets not forget, if you want to talk about racism and hooliganism, what happened when Germany played Poland - English fans have not done anything like that in recent years.

    Aside from that, people on here always talk about how the Klitschko's have international fans...in Poland, Ukraine and Russia. Don't insult anyones intelligence by suggesting that any one of those three countries are better than England for hooliganism. They are on a different level altogether.
