**John Murray vs Kevin Mitchell Build up Thread to North vs South!**

Warren or Mitchell have changed their minds it seems. Not Joe.

 

Joe Gallagher said 2 weeks ago he would not let murray fight kevin mitchell until he fights for a world title.

 

Because that was Warren's plan, not Gallagher's. He likes to make himself sound like the big shot on the radio and in his column.

 

Who has the larger following of the two?

true. mitchell never changed his mind though. he always wanted the fight he just negotiated a better fee.

 

I do find it amazing the amount of hype this fight is getting on here considering it's pretty much a guy who lost his biggest fight to date by knock out in 3 against another guy who hasn't stepped up in class yet.

In many ways, that's the beauty of this fight, as this asks the simple question "How good are both guys". Is Mitchell, who has only lost to Kats so far, really good enough to challenge for world honours vs Is Murray a limited fighter with a padded record who will lose if he steps up domestically. Can Mitchell outbox the brawler? Will Mitchell even try to out box him as he might want to prove he can out-war a bigger opponent? Is Murray good enough to close the gap against Kev? Will either chin hold up as both guys can bang if they want to.

1 thing is for sure, I, like many of you, can't fooking wait!!!!

 

Mitchell sold 17,000 at Upton Park. Murray sold out a Manchester bingo hall once...

 

So why do you always buy into the idea that Gallagher controls everything?

I really enjoyed the night but it was only in one half of the stadium...:yep

The Ricky Burns fight was my favourite that night...:good

Katsidis v Mitchell was Prime Steak v Corned Beef...:deal

Tonight my view is that Mitchell will take this fight...:yep

I think Murray tends to believe he is alot more popular than he really is

And I'm also a west ham fan. He pulled 17,000 for it, and Upton Park holds 34,000. The Bobby Moore lower was completely filled, as was half of the East Stand and Half the west. Bobby Moore upper also had a fair few, not to mention the floor seating where I was. Regardless of whether half the stadium was blocked off, it's still 15,000 more seats than Murray has ever sold :hey

Mitchell knocks him out late on, mark my words.

 

Second best part of the night was getting a huge Dominoes Pizza near the boozer just up from the ground...:yep After a day on the sauce I was starvin...:blurp
