Choc is fishing for a shot at Austin Trout who I think will be out of water against The Man. I'm sure Choc will catch Trout.

Given the opportunity, Choc may aim to hook Trout.

But the most likely scenario is Trout would lure Choc into the type of dangerously deep water he tries desperately to avoid, and school him.

Anthony Mundine, Garth Wood are not real fighters, Commonwealth gold medallist Daniel Geale claims

by Ben Lloyd - FOX Sports - 19th April 2011

Anthony Mundine and Garth Wood are fake fighters who have been milking the Australian public, Commonwealth gold medallist Daniel Geale said on Fox Sports News.

Geale is finishing his preparations for his IBF middleweight bout against world champion Sebastian Sylvester, and he feels he has been left in the shadows as Mundine and Wood have dominated Australian boxing publicity.

"It's very frustrating that they do get a lot of media attention," Geale said about Wood and Mundine on Fox Sports News.

"They haven't proved they are going to fight anybody good.

"Mundine is probably past it now, and Garth Wood is yet to prove himself.

"As a fighter and a boxer, I sort of rate (Garth Wood) kind of low.

"He's not that skilful and has not had a lot of fights."

Geale is adamant the Australian public deserves to see better fights that that served up by mundine and Wood in Brisbane.

"We are going to prove to Australia we are going to take real fights, fight the champions," Geal said.

"We are not going to sort of milk the public, we are going to do it properly."

On the prospect of fighting Mundine or Wood in the future, Geale said that he was focussed on fighting "real boxers".

"I’ll fight these guys down the track to prove to Australia that they are just a hype," he said.

"There not real fighters and just been milking the public."

Nothing worse than a fake milker Sox.

Interesting that Geale, as mild mannered and polite as he is, is now calling fakes out.

Hope he is 100% focused on his hit and run mission to Germany.

I don't like it actually, this kind of talk doesn't suit him.

Geale needs to stick to talking in the ring.

Well what Geale says about Choc not fighting the best but he himself doing so is correct, But the part about fighting them down teh line and proving they are fake is a bit over the top, If i remember correctly Geale had his chance at Choc and it was a close awesome fight, If choc is not a real boxer then on his own logic Geale musn't be either as he didn't cruise against Choc and actually lost the fight

I agree. But it also depends whether he can do it and not get distracted from doing it.

The comment did manage to get him some media column space, but let's hope he doesn't turn into just another media slut - boxing is already riddled with them.

(was just giving our French friend a cheerio earlier - he sneaks a sly, but fairly regular peek at what's being said via his alter-ego Dan_D).

When Mundine and Geale fought 2 years ago it was like two people meeting on escalators. Geale was on the one going up and Mundine on the one going down.

Geale's progression since has been wins over Barbosa, Kariuki and Karmazin, and sees him fighting Sylvester for the IBF title in a few weeks time.

Mundine has plainly not been on the improve, and is physically, and perhaps also mentally, about shot.

Your second point is the main thing IMO.
Leave the bull**** talk to the guys who are good at it.

Like Whipsy also said, he's contradicting himself a little by calling Mandy a fake. Even though I maintain Geale won, it was still a close fight.
Yes, Geale would school Mandy today, but who really cares now, Geale needs to put that well and truly behind him and focus on what counts.

Exactly, Geale and Mandy are from different planets today.
