I know the khan fans are gonna go nuts, but its true when khan throws one punch at a time its at a decent speed, and when he throws a combination of punches it takes till the 3rd punch for him to pic up speed let me explain. Khan's first punch is average his second punch picks up speed and the third one is fast. The problem is when you're fighting an A class fighter your very seldom gonna land a combo of punches and if the first punch is slow then it won't matter cause you won't find the guy.

Khan likes brag about being faster than manny, but its not true because manny's first punch is so fast it blinds you so you can't see the other one coming.

The truth is single shot speed is better than combo speed unless there's some kind of reward for being able to punch in place for a long time.

For those who are mad at this point ask yourself one question if khan is so fast why was he finding it hard to hit a guy with decent reflexes that keeps his hands down?

In fact here's another question if he is so skilled why is he throwing useless combos when a simple 1, 2 down the middle would of done the trick all night long.

Yes he won and yes he was the better fighter, but he would lost to kell brook and a number of fighters that night.

His accuracy is ****, that's probably why he throws them in bunches, at least one will land.

I'd say his jab is fast.

    His combos are sloppy though.

yeah he wastes his shots. The amazing thing about pac is that all those weird angles and shots are actually accurate. Camacho and sweet pea threw combinations that were accurate .... ... ... but they didn't have much behind them. Khan has heavier hands than them, but is sloppy and all over the place. Pac is a great combo of unorthodox angles, power, and speed. Khan is just a straight one two one two shoe shine guy with power but crap angles and bad accuracy.

Yea, but they're long so if you step in you can land power shots all night

Its the same tactic that Calzaghe used, throw loads of punches in a burst. Only a few will land and they wont be very powerful but when the judges at the end of the round mark their scorecards, they will remember the flurry, the reaction from the crowd and because they were so fast will assmume that most of the punches landed

I found it very amateurish.. Charging in and loosing balance, two fists arriving at the same time and open to counters all night. You see there is a big difference between controlled speed and wildness.

in his last fight he got frustrated in no being able to land on mcCloscky, he has faster hands than pac, sparring partners, roach even say it. he needs to wear proper gloves like everlast, reyes, grant

Hitman fan. It's a disgrace to compare khans amature punches to the class of Joe Calzaghe. Calzaghe was an unorthodox southpaw puncher who had a very high accuracy % when he box. He had an excellent jab. Late on in his career he had to adapt his punching style as his hand became very week after many brakes, due to the fact in his early career he was regarded a big hitter 23 ko's in 25 fights. I really don't rate khan and he should never be compared to Joe Calzaghe. A class operator!

His most important single punch, the jab is pretty dam fast. I don't agree that his first punch speed is anywhere below average, so I can't agree with the statement. Also you guys have probably not seen a lot of mcklosky but he is similar to joshua clotter in the sense that he makes every fighter look bad. But let's be real guys. Khan was never troubled and won every round so its hardly like he is in some kind of crisis. He takes bradley by ud imo.

    This.

Khan was never going to look good in this fight, he only chose it to work on a few things, McCloskey was basically a glorified sparring partner.

I still think he takes Bradley by decision.

Khan fights like glorified amateur, One-two Runaway, One-Two-Three runaway, One-Two Runaway.

But, I'll have to admit he looked like the best thing since sliced bread with Marcos Madiana because he hardly ever moves his head, actually, all he dose is bend down. Khan probably had his eyes closed hitting Madiana flush, hell, the guy only moves if you move.

Damn, I just had a revelation, Marcos Madiana kinda sucks...well, he dose suck. I mean lets think about it, aside from Victor Ortiz who the hell has he ever beat that wasn't supposed to beat.

I remember like Two weeks ago I seen him lose about five rounds in a row to Erik Morales...I mean damn I didn't know rather to laugh or Cry.
