When did Mitchell gain boxing skills? He'll peck his way to an early lead before Murray starts tagging his rib cage. Then we'll have a fight and Mitchell has no inside technique. Can't see him winning except by a razor thin decision. The Murray stoppage is more likely.

I said Mitchell before Murrays last fight and I'm sticking with it.

If Murray's last fight was as long ago as Mitchell's and had Mitchell just lost to Katsidis a few weeks back, would the polls be as lopsided? :think

mitchells been out for a while ,hasent had any tune ups and may take him a few rounds to warm up ,by that time murray could have dominated him a few times .i think that murray will have too much as he is more active of the two ,a big factori think ,if mitchell had fought ten rounds or so between now and the time the fight happens than maybe but i cant see it .Murray to win for me

I think murray will win late by KO, will be a good fight though its hard to pick as you can see

Like many others I keep changing my mind on this one. But that's why it's a great fight and I'm glad it's finally happening.

I think I'd go for Murray by late stoppage if pushed into it.

Very good fight. As the poll shows it's a fight that splits a lot of opinion. Personally, I fancy Murray; he's a naturally bigger stronger lightweight who will not have to do much to get Mitchell into an inside fight where his physical attributes should see him dominate

So who do people think hits harder at lightweight?

Neither of these two are world level lightweights im afraid and that is a fact but this is a good scrap and an intriguing one.

I fancy Mitchell to do the job if he hasn't lost anything after his time out

I think that's the big question: What has Mitchell, physically and physicologically, got left? The Katsidis defeat was bad for him, regardless of what excuses he can find from his training camp, and would have taken a lot out of him.

In terms of one punch power its Mitchell, accumilitive would be Murray.

I think that is the case when this fight comes off it looks like it could be anything up to 18 months out of the ring .

I just hope he has his head screwed on though he did come back off a long lay off to school Prescott so long lay offs outside the ring haven't caused him too much harm in the past.

Rob I agree I was just interested if anybody thought Murray had more power. Murray is there to be hit and he doesnt bring Kats level power though he does bring the pressure. If Mitchell has the confidence to really let them go then he wins.

Mitchell had two tune ups going into the Precott fight. I hope he gets out May 21st but cannot see it. The deck is being stacked against Mitchell.

I agree. Murrays pressure and accumiltion has worked before as he is fighting punch bags.

It's tough to call at the beginning of a camp and based on last performances...:yep

I will see how the camps go and call it nearer the time, on Murray's last performance you would have to favour Mitchell, but that was just a bad night at the office...:yep

Looking forward to this one and defo be going wherever it is...:good

When did I say John Murray was world class?

What I did say was, a somewhat getting past it Carl Johanesson took Mitchell into the trenches so why people think he had these mad boxing skills compared to Murray I don't know.
