If manny pacquiao beats floyd mayweather,
where would you rank him in the all time great list?
does he get into the top10?
I currently have him around the top 15. So if he beat mayweather where would you rank him.
id probably have him just behing SRL-Top 10.

Please dont make this into a Mayweather vs Pacquiao thread and yes i do see the irony, I just want to know your opinion on where you would rank him in ATG list if he beat a guy with Mayweahters ability.

I get what your saying but i just dont want arguments over people on who would win in a fight between them, i just want to see where he would rank if he beat a guy with the talent of maywether, only mayweather currently is at a level which is truly great(not including pac).

if he beats floyd who is naturally bigger, had the stylistic advantage, great boxing skills and one of the best defensive boxers, people would have no difficulty ranking him inside top 10, imo, especially with his previous accomplishments.

you guys are not understanding just how exclusive top 25 really is. Its no slight on pacquiao at all. but top 25 is an immensely elite group.

having said that, beating floyd SHOULD get him into the top 25 conversation. i assume you mean p4p?

I thought floyd is a cherry picker, past his prime and overrated and not even a top 20 ATG.

So how does pac beating the above make him a top 10 ATG? :blood

Let's say we have pac between 15-20 right now, which i most certainly do not, but beating a past prime floyd propels him up 5 to 10 places? Really.

Where is floyd now on the ATG list.

He's top 15 now, so top 5 possibly although its tight at the top. Definitely top 10 though

    Marquez
    Mosely
    Hatton
    De La Hoya
    Margarito
    Diaz
    Clottey
    Cotto
    Barrera
    Morales
    Mayweather

Thats would not be a bad list of fighters to have beaten.

Plus he is a 7 weight world champion and is all action....

ok find me a quote where i say floyd is overrated and a cherry picker? i did say that he avoids the biggest threat in his career in cotto and pac but please find me a quote of mine that i said that.

just 3 years ago, pac fighting floyd was a joke. those so called experts here thinks that pac beating juan diaz at 135 would do great wonders for pac's legacy and put him a top 30 ATG. so pac already beat hatton, cotto, oscar, clottey and margo. all of whom are not only bigger but better than juan diaz. pac fighting floyd now and beating him would greatly affect his ATG standings seeing all the advantages that floyd has over pac.
