you will have to book but if you are unlucky it can still be quite a walk from where to park to inside the o2.

It's not the farcial PPV we've come to see from Haye and Khan. There's two cracking fights there. Having said that, it is difficult to charge £15.

Maybe that is a PPV card these days? I dunno....

I think at least some of the problem on ESB is that when these dates get announced we have the "Fantasy Fight Card" threads where people submit their main events and undercards which can involve more than a bit of wishfull thinking and when the real card fails to live up to those levels people get disappointed.....?

i see what you mean mate. The Mag 7 threw everyone off. the original line up was class and what we ended up with was still quality.

warren promised us much of the same.....guess hes full of **** as always.

I really wanted the Mag 7 to be the way forward for cards without a "superstar" headlining but maybe it wasn't a success financially?

Anyone known how that did on the PPVs? Myabe lots of buys from boxing fans but not enough from the casuals?

The Mag 7 was probably the best PPV I've bought. Wouldn't mind if we got 2 or 3 of those cards a year - would deffo buy everytime.

that what warren have been promising but not delivering. i think we need to face facts that wont happen again.

ppv should have a minimum of 4 fights that could be saturday fight night main events.

i get the feeling it wasnt plus the fights for degale, clev are more expensive now.

stull surley we could have got bellew vs mcenzie 2 and gavin in a better fight.

What they could perhaps do is offer less TV dates and make promoters put a show together and agree a fee.

The entire buying policy is flawed - until this changes we will be going around in circles.

Does anyone really give a **** about a young prospect vs an Afrobum for the Commonwealth? Or a domestic level fighter that is promoted by the same promoter as the British champion beating some no mark Russian for the vacant European?

No - of course not. Don't base fees on titles - Groves/DeGale is a domestic fight but is a more interesting and significant fight than pretty much any European title fight I've seen in the past two years.

As for PPV's, I don't mind paying £15 if it's a show I want to watch. What we don't need is the constant pull outs - I'd rather have three or four really good fights guaranteed rather than having Macklin pissing about deciding whether he wants to show up or not, or Brook vs a bum.

I'm disappointed with the opponent for Gavin, but given that Theophane doesn't seem interested, and Daws is coming off a loss.... without dipping his hand deep into his pocket there isn't going to be many better fighters available. Lynes isn't any better really, O'Donnell and Watson have both lost recently etc.

It's a conundrum that Warren will have to face with all the lads, what's frustrating is that they've had plenty of time to secure someone better.

Better than the Haye-Harrison, Khan-McClown PPV's for sure.

Still haven't bought my ticks for this.
