Arm span, eh? They must've changed to it when I wasn't looking.

"Tarver's arm span advantage is beginning to tell in this fight".

    Tarver by KO, 4th.

Green will get up, dust himself off, tell everybody how much he loves his Aussie compadre's and promise to bring out another big name.
Will fight The Pioneer next and retire.

i freely admit i havent seen Tarver since Dawson II but i
think this will be a good fight.if he fights a good, young
genuine CW at CW he will get beat hence why he wont do it
plus Tarver is more marketable battle of the legend destroyers etc.

    It's a good match-up. It'll sell, and it's here in Australia!

I am picking Green on points in this one. Tarver has never been stopped, so I am picking green superior fitness and agressiveness to get him a close but non controversial points nod.

Wnt be going to syd to see it though this time just incase of another 90 sec fight

I only went to the local pub for Green vs Briggs Perth fight and was still absolutely pissed that I'd been ripped off.

Wasn't so disappointed for the Green vs RJJ Sydney fight though - but my mate who got to the pub late and missed the bloody fight was!

    True story -

I'm sitting in my local to watch the Green vs Briggs 'fight', chatting to a few of the boys who are regular fight watchers and in blows referee Les Fear.

Now say what you like about Les, I like him and he's genuinely a good fella. He spots me, "Nath, what's doing mate, here for the fight, I'll join ya".

Good as gold, no problem Lezzy my friend I think to myself and he sits down with his beer and then proceeds with "I'll just go and take a slash before it kicks off".

Hahahaha, mind you this is literally as corners etc are moving out so genuinely you would think he'll miss the first minute tops! Well **** me, he misses the whole fight as the toilets were packed and now the joint is going off with boo's and blow-up's as Briggs has umm, well, been stopped!

I tell him what transpired and he then say's, "ahh ****off Nath, your full of ****, what's really happenend and is now by blowing up deluxe that "he's been ripped off!"

Well guess what Lezzy my friend, we ****ing all were!

I still laugh now remembering the poor *******s face when I was telling him! Needless to say we sat and chatted over a few beers for the next hour which should of been fight time!

Can't quite match that, but my mate missed the fight like this:

I'm at the pub watching the build-up to Green vs Roy. My mate arrives about 5 minutes before the first bell. Says he has to pick up his son from only up the road shortly, take him home, and then come back.

    The fighters enter the ring.

He's not going to be able to put off picking his son up for the full 12, so I say to him 'go now, you'll only miss the national anthem, perhaps a rounds or two, and you'll be back for the business end of it anyway'.

He been gone less than five minutes...and receives my phone call - basically screaming above the roar of the pub....'don't bother coming back mate, IT'S OVER!!

The 'I blinked and missed Green KO Roy' club has probably got quite a few members.

As would have the 'I blinked and missed Green do whatever he did to Briggs'[/B] club

Danny Green will easily win. Tarvers completely shot, when will Green fight a live body....
