Yeah, and Freddie wouldn't choose that fight, either. Don't think he'd want him to fight some one who can REALLY box.
don't be a ****. Faster? No. Stronger? No. From the Hoya fight onward, he hasn't gotten any faster. He actually looked slower in the Marg fight. There's no evidence his power increased.
Kind of like Martinez. You see a lot of boxers look old over night it seems, and then you got 2 guys like this who seem like they'll never let themselves go, and never fall off the mountain...Unless they decide to just walk off the mountain themselves.
Those are the guys who retired on time, eventually age catches up with anyone( except bernard hopkins), Pac will eventually decline and might get knocked out because of it, I hope when it happens its a lennox vs vitali type fight and he walks away from the game, I would hate to see him ending up like jones.
I think that's hard to tell, and depends on competition. He hits hard enough to keep a man that weighs 17 pounds more, and has a granite chin off him! He had enough power to KO Cotto in quicker time than Margarito even did. Wether his punching power increased or not it doesn't matter...I think if he knocks out Mosley though then everybody can admit his power has gotten better. Of course his competition is a bit slower than the lighter weights so it's going to make him look faster of course. He looks in great shape though, and as long as he's still kicking ass...Who really cares if he hits harder, or gets faster?
Pacs not going to fight that long. There's really nobody else to beat. His only options are: JMM 3 (maybe), Mayweather (if he doesn't go to jail, and gets some courage), Martinez (dude is to big), and somebody like Ortiz (eventually MAYBE), or Bradley (if he beats Khan). Besides Mayweather none of those are fights he actually needs.
Yeah you are right. I was thinking it was sooner. He knocked Cotto down before margarito did...Due to speed, and angles more than power IMO.
