    MAB
    Morales
    JMM

JMM is imo a better fighter than the other two, they did slightly more though.

    Barrera
    Morales
    Marquez

Barrera and Morales can be switched around, but as much as I like Marquez, i dont think much of his case for #1 here.

    Morales
    Barrera
    Marquez

Up until Morales' victory over Pacquiao, i'd of had Barrera just ahead.

Ned Nederlander was really better with a gun, by far, but Lucky was cooler, more of a ladies man, had the lasso work going, was smarter...Dusty was tallest...Hell, man, I don't know. This is really hard, man.

You said EM & MAB were interchangeable BEFORE the Morales-Maidana fight, regardless of who you scored the fight for (Im guessing Maidana probably), the performance of Morales at this stage of his career vs a 27 yr old 140 lb top fighter wasnt enough to `interchange` Morales from 2nd to to top position ? :think

Oh, I'm sorry. I had just read the title. Wrong 3 Amigos. Actually, I don't think 2 of these 3 are friends with each other. MAB, Morales, Marquez. I know the Pac win makes Morales the typical favorite over Barrera, but I prefer Barrera's overalll body of work, even consider him the more impressive fighter and Marquez simply didn't have a very opportunistic or lucky career, even though I think his quality as a fighter is on the level of the other two. If he brings in a few good wins defending his lineal lightweight title (Guerrero and Rios would be a damn fine enhancement) or goes for a fourth division title and gets it, his case gets much stronger. However, now I'm thinking maybe Morales has even yet another last name win in him that might build his case as the head man, and I'm even questioning whether or not Barrera is truly done with some of the weird results of the past month or two. Right now though, MAB, Morales, Marquez.

Marquez still has a bit of time though, lets hope he uses his last few years wisely.
