Would you think Marquez was ducking Pacquiao if it came out that he refused Arum's offer because Arum wanted options on him????

Even a chimp would have the common sense to know that this is'nt a situation where Marquez does not want to fight Pacquiao, because in fact the Pacquiao fight is the fight he most wishes for.........

.....however, Marquez is not in a position where he has to take the Pacquiao fight regardless of the fairness of the deal.

i don't even think jmm is ducking pacquiao even it was a very fair TR offer more than GBP. look, pacquiao, even if they roughly weight the same at fight night, is around 2 divisions above jmm. if jmm thinks khan is too much for him at 140, i won't blame him for not taking pac at 147.

as of now, i just think that jmm decided that GBP's offer of a multi-fight deal against less riskier opponents in zab and morales is much better and is enticing him instead of a one-shot multi-million dollar deal against pac where he could get a career-ending beat-down. jmm had just made a decision that would best suit his career.

marquez hasn't made a decision yet. he'd be stupid to pass up a trilogy bout with manny.

You're heading in a different tangent now........plain and simple, if Arum wants options on Marquez, I just dont see Marquez accepting that.

Marquez already went through a ****ing nightmare years ago when he fought under the Top Rank banner and Arum did ****ing zero for him.

......it would be a ****ing mistake to allow Arum to have options on Marquez' future fights......that alone is reason enough to turn down a Pacquiao fight even if the fight was offered to Marquez at 140 lbs, much more the reason to turn it down with the fight being offered at 147 lbs.

but marquez would sign on to deals where GBP has options on him too. so it would be just picking pacquiao ( a very risky opponent ) for at least $5-6M dollars excluding PPV or get lower amounts of money against less riskier opponents in judah and morales. mosley has done it and secured a pac fight. it's all now in jmm's hands if he really wants it or not.

    You're clueless!.......

....you're ignoring what is clear and is fact....Marquez was once promoted by Arum, who clearly did'nt give a damn about him and did not work with Marquez having his best interest in mind.

Marquez dealings with Arum have been a ****ing nightmare, and you think that Arum having options on Marquez would be no different than GBP having them???:patsch

Listen, promoters have their own best interest in mind, but at least with GBP, Marquez has seen that they're willing to work with him with a plan and a set of fights in mind........something Arum never did for Marquez.

I didn't used to think you were a ******* until now. You're not even trying to answer the question. Marquez has done plenty to show that he wants another fight with Pac. It is Pac/Arum who don't want the fight, claiming GBP is impossible to work with.

You just explained why Marquez might not chose to sell his future to Arum just for a fight with Pac. Marquez does have other options and it would stupid of him to sell his future to Arum for one fight.

You reasons for why Marquez doesn't want the fight are pure speculation. Try being unbiased and start using facts.

They don't look at facts. They speculate to fit PAC's agenda. When the truth is right in front of them.

well if you are arguing about sets of fights, just decide if who you really want next: pacquiao or zab judah + erik morales.

i would not go much into detail coz anything you say is just specualtion again. marquez if he wants a 3rd fight with pacquiao should be signing with TR and if he wants judah, then stay at GBP.

as i've said, jmm would make it easier to land a pac fight if he just signs with TR. why would you held it against pac if jmm signs with GBP?

what facts? the only fact we have is if jmm wants a pac fight made easy, just sign with TR. isn't that the only fact we know here? divac was making some conspiracy theories once again.
