Does Marquez signing with Golden Boy prove he don't want to fight Manny?

Just a question guys but why the **** is nobody mentioning Pac being a welterweight?

I've always felt that Marquez was calling Pac out because he desperately wants the W against him but it's clear that Pacquiao physically holds too many aces now. It's a stupid fight to make at this point regardless of their history.

JMM came in at 142 for Floyd and he looked like dog **** in terms of his physique and ability to get off. Admit it guys - the fight is a farce at 147lbs so take Top Rank and Golden Boy out the equation and just look at the facts.

 

What we think really doesn't matter. I don't know if Marquez has stated whether or not he is willing to do at 147, but he has said many times Pac is the fight he wants most. If Marquez is willing to fight again at 147 or Pac comes down to 140 the welterweight issue solved.

PAC can make 140 easily but not for JMM.. because for him he needs every advantage he can get.

If he really wanted to fight Pac, why would he go throught all the aging, one dimensional, powder puncher in 135. The least that he could do is to at least fight one of the legit 140 pounders. Even Maidana is at least more credible that Juan Diaz or Katsidis.

No he doesn't. How did you come to that conclusion. If that were the case, signing with TP would be his only choice. Sign a one fight deal with pac then retire. Marquez wouldn't have to worry about his future with Arum after Pac if he plans to retire.

no you got it wrong. pac can make 140 but he is more comfortable weighing around 144. so for pac to make 140, he needs to control his food a little which he also doesn't like. it was jmm wanting it at 140 hoping for pac to struggle a little and get an advantage.

the best is to make this fight at 144 catch but 147 is ok since pac would not make use of it full. fight night weight will also be roughly the same with jmm at 145 and pac at 148.
