Imagine if Marquez was given the win and then Floyd comes back to fight Marquez as the number 1 p4p instead of number 2

Pac looked weight drained in this fight but he won nonetheless.

My thoughts exactly. Pacquiao was boxing his more measured style, the one he is boxing today and seemed to have more problems than when he just tried to steamroll Marquez in the first bout.

I figure Manny was just getting used to boxing more, so it was all new to him. Or maybe this style is even more tailor-made for Marquez.

    NO.

It was a very good fight but Morales-Barrera 1 blows it away.

Yet Marquez did as good or better in the 2nd fight & I wouldnt say JMM improved from the 1st fight, it must be the styles thing.

Thanks for revealing your YT account.
I will now follow your every move on youtube.

My fav fight is still Leonard/Hearns I, though this one is great.
Still can't find a good copy of it though, just a bunch of shitty quality ones.

If Marquez rightfully would have been the official winner, a Marquez-Mayweather fight would have never happened at 147 lbs.

Marquez would have never gone above 140 lbs to fight anyone.
Had Mayweather wanted Marquez, he'd have to have come down to 140 lbs tops for that fight to have been made.

......being that Mayweather refused to attempt to come down to 144 lbs and unprofessionally tipped the scales at 146 lbs, its more than likely there never would have been a Marquez-Mayweather fight, and its quite possible that Marquez today could still lay claim to suggest he should still be undefeated.

The more likely scenario is that a third match between Marquez and Pacquiao would have happened within a year had the right decision been rendered.
