we know that jmm passed-up on an immediate rematch with pac back in 2004 and it did not went well for his career back then. it's only after his pac rematch that his career lighted up winning the 135 lineal and defending it a couple of times and getting a mega-fight with floyd at welterweight-catch.

now, jmm is on a cross-roads once again. what would you do if you are in his case?

I'll go up to 140 and fight the winner of Khan/Bradley to get his fourth divisional title. (First Mexican to achieve that)

. . . then call out Pac to fight at 140.

well i can see this is one of the better options. but as of now the two options i posted above is what could happen next. talks of a pacquiao and judah fight on the immediate horizon.

He already signed with GBP and he cannot resign just like that. He is already binded by a contract.

He should negotiate with the Judah fight aim at the IBF title then fight a unification fight with the winner of Khan/Bradley if he makes it past Zab. If he is successful which I feel he will be, he'll get 3 belts at 140. That is . . . while he is waiting for the Pac fight to materialize.

move to 140 and try and get a fight with Khan/Bradley winner. Khan will beat Bradley IMO so a Khan v JMM fight would be a nice payday for him. In the mean time take a fight with Guerrero or move to 140 now and take on Moralles?!!

"My goal, the priority in my career is Manny Pacquiao. For several days I've been training for my next fight, scheduled for June or July. It's supposed to be a fight where I will defend my lightweight titles, and in November there could be the fight against Pacquiao. But the reality is, it won't be easy to get that fight," Marquez said.
    :deal

"If I renew my contract with Golden Boy, there could be a problem. Pacquiao hardly accepts any fights with anyone [who is with] Golden Boy. Another way to make this fight is to go to another company, or work as a free agent."

He hasn't signed the the Golden boy deal, yet he does say he will be defending his title in july presumably under GBP. Sounds like a gentlemen agreement or a one fight deal as of now. After than he free to negotiate what is the best way to get pac in the ring.

    Sign w/Golden Boy.
Take the fights being offered, Judah, ect...
(140lbs championship possibility at this stage outweighs a "Pac" fight)
