Murray has relinquished the EBU belt before today Murray v Rees purse bids

So Rees will now fight for the vacant title I presume

 

yep Rees vs Andy Murray for the vacant title. Which means Crolla will get a new mandatory.

 

Rees v Murray should be a good fight. We've lost four European champions lately in Dudey, Magee, Casey and Macklin. So hopefully Andy Murray will do the business. Surely this will be on Sky Sports?

 

Hope Andy goes for it. They might as well push him on and take the shot, his chances aren't going to get any better.

I would imagine if Matchroom pick it up it will be Sky. Depends if Murrays team accept a deal or it goes to PBs

 

I dont think Murray can handle Rees pressure. I dont think Murray can handle much o be honest. Just cant warm to him

 

Is Rees with matchroom? If so I imagine adeal will be reached since Peters seems to have a good relationship with them. Plus RTE dont have any money to bankroll a Peters show in Ireland

He can be a bit inconsistent I think, he was supposed to be crap at the weekend, but I think he's looked pretty good at times. He looked well in his fight against Lacerda in Mayo.

Rees is a tough guy to fight, because of the barrage of punches, which might not suit him. But I think a step up is well overdue.

 

But ... you did gain one with Anthony Fitzgerald
