    Wasn't his older home in a gated community and he had problems with security on more than one occasion?

    Could be why he's moved, but hell.. the home he's bought is amazing.

    Don't know what the property tax rate is over there but in CA its about 1%-1.5% of the assessed value.

    Assuming the house is assessed at $30 mill, he'll have to pay $300K-$450K per year. Not to mention all the upkeep.

    I doubt it's worth 30 milli. I would guess at least 30%-50% of that value is tied up in remodeling cost and furniture.
