It's not a rubber match if you haven't won either of the previous two fights lol

To answer this question, you're gonna have to weigh which fights are even viable for JuanMa at this point of his career:

    1. Pacquiao - gotta leave GBP just to have a shot and sign w/ TR to increase your chances; if he only wants this fight then it makes sense to sign w/ TR since he'll retire afterwards

    2. Judah - this has been dangled by GBP if he stays but I don't see why he couldn't do that fight without them

    3. Guerrero - he has less than 40 days to fight RG because he holds both interim belts where Marquez is the real champ, which would make RG the mandatory; must stay w/ GBP to make that happen or lose his belts

    4. Khan - another fight where he has to stay w/ GBP

    5. Bradley - Bradley is a FA starting June 1, so it will be interesting to see where he signs

    Am i missing anyone?

good breakdown. probably morales but it would be a step-down imo. jmm could fight any 140 titlist, if he would not get pac.

Why? Besides the fact that a bunch of *******s are respoding with **** posts for the first two pages of this thread, YOU start the thread with bull****.

"we know that jmm passed-up on an immediate rematch with pac back in 2004"

    REALLY??!!

When did he pass up the immediate rematch, before his fight with Salido, or after his fight with Salido??

Or was it when Bob Arum saw that he could make a bigger money fight by matching Pac with the better known Morales who had just fought a war against Barrera?

You know the FACTS, you guys just play dumb. Arum saw a bigger money fight against Morales who had just lost to Barrera,...And where there is bigger money, there is Arum. JMM was a higher risk lower reward.

I like how he likes to sneak that into the OP which would have actually been a good one but a ******* is a ******* and they can not go a day without blasting either PBF or JMM.

These threads are pointless. Let me guess what happens. Soon a ******* posts a GIF or pic of JMM going down in their fight.

both of them were offered a rematch. pac agreed to the purse while jmm thinks it's a sham. i do not blame jmm for not accepting such a minimal increase but look at what happened to his career when he passed up the pac rematch? pac went on to fight morales who btw, jmm also demanded too much. jmm went on to fight guys like john, jandaeng and jaca.

sometimes you guys have to accept the facts. jmm passed-up on the rematch and was a terrible decision at hindsight. we can make a poll if you think it is a good decision for jmm's career. i am seeing another similarity now that jmm has a chance to fight pacquiao a third time.

i would like a third fight. but only for jmm's resume. win or lose pac would not get any credit for it. it would be like morales 3 all over again. of course i want floyd first but he is on leave.

He was the champ who held 2 titles fighting a guy that had no titles and most people felt JMM outboxed him for 10 out of the 12 rounds.

Why in the hell would he have to split the purse with Pac so evenly?? I would have told them to get out of here with that. I do think soon after that no one wanted a piece of JMM. Lets face it he was avoided by the big names for a long time thats very well documented and Arum basically put JMM on the shelf since he still had Morales and Pac to make money off of.

What was he supposed to do if none of the big names wanted to get it on with him unless they were making more money than him.

pacquiao was lineal when he just beat barrera before fighting jmm. and pac was the next big thing and jmm was the avoided one. why do you think jmm deserves more than pac when pac is the more exciting fighter that time and coming of a great win.

pac accepted the offer even if he deserves more. jmm meanwhile felt he needed more. it's as simple as that.

If he stays at lightweight the only fight there he can take is Guerrero because he's the mandatory in BOTH orgs. Otherwise, he vacates his belts at 35.
