The 'Evan Fields' story came out after years of accusations and innuendos. As far as I know, it's not a proven story, backed up by anything official. It's just a news story - most of which are made up. The story itself is not solid at all. And, yes, journalists do spend their time trying to dig dirt or concoct bad rumours about celebrities. Having said that, I think Holyfield probably used PEDs anyway.
Ibeaubuchi for starters. Obviously Morrison and Botha (one admitted it, one got caught). Herbie Hide ? Razor Ruddock ? Lennox Lewis ? Frank Bruno ? Seldon ? McCall ? Ray Mercer maybe. Golota, I believe so. Post-prison Tyson. Just about all of them. Possibly, or probably.
Wlad, Vitali, Bowe, Moorer, old George etc. If they were juicing at least they did it with a bit of savvy. To use your DOB, phone number, address and abbreviation of name is just ****ing stupid.
Do you believe its made up? If so why hasn't Holyfield taken legal action against Sports Illustrated? :rasta
That's one of the reasons I don't even believe that story is necessarily true. People make stuff up all the time. Especially against celebrities who they suspect have stuff to hide. And it was 2007, 23 years into Holyfield's career. That's a long time to go without getting caught. Shannon Briggs is the BIG user. He should be officially sponsored by HGH.
Probably because he has used PEDs ! He's not going to draw attention to the fact or provoke other inverstigations into his business. The Evans Fields story itself is probably bull****. If he's been using PEDs for a couple of decades, I reckon he'd have his **** together enough not to have his number and DOB and then some ridiculous fake name. His name was anonymously linked to this 'Applied Pharmacy Services' investigation by unnamed police and media, but wasn't one of the names that came up in any of the subsequent legal proceedings. And it was a long-running case. I wouldn't be surprised if someone threw together a fake 'customer list' with a few more famous 'names' to get this case publicized and to point the finger at some bigger stars.
