Do your worst sport! I'm telling you about something that's already taken place, and I couldn't believe the amount of encouragement I received to tear into you - it was almost embarrassing.
I could not see one person here that would think your not obsessed with your Mundine policing and that it's reached a crisis point Save the usual haters will come forward saying your thousands of Mundine posts are just normal. :nut However in a closed PM survey they would lash you I would rather spend my time supporting a fighter than writing thousands of negative posts
Right on que, I'm a hater although now I'm also stupid! I know who the stupid one on here is sport. I agreed with a post that actually didn't say he had no talent, that was your twist on it. I agreed whole heartedly with Perfect Jet's comments about his no guts/no determination as proven by Mandy's litergy of Argie cab drivers (not even the best Argie's in their respective divisions), Aussie beat-up's yet all the while talking of his planned world adventures for all you dumb ****s - yes you being the No. 1 dumb **** who swallow all his ****. You'd swallow his **** if he actually allowed you your that much of a dumbass! Whilst talking about his world adventures - it is proven that he ducked mandated rematches or mandatory challengers when the going got tough, so there lies a lack of determination and guts. He and his crony Khoder may have ripped off the Australian public large, but his whole career has been a myth...
Jet I dont think I twisted anything about this post... I said Mundine should have taken another 4 or 5 bigger fights and 2 world title fights in the 3 years he was in his prime. But to say he's got not heart or guts is just wrong IMO Choc fought Otkke in his 11 fight for a world title....Green after Green was KTFO of all in sundry....and Choc fought Kessler after Kessler bashed Siaca who beat Mundine 10 months before...to a lesser extent...now chcos passed his best he stumped up and fought mad Garth Wood for a second time after being stopped first time round Yes he didnt step up enough I agree....but to say hes got no heart, guts or talent is wrong :deal
No guts no heart....get a life He fought Kessler and Green and fought undefeated Ottke in his 11 fight....how does he have no heart? The rest came down to $ calls......something you trot out on a regular basis but only when it suites you :nut
Geez I could have sworn I wrote determination??? :think Would that be Ash mis-quoting or twisting other people's comments again? Ohh and now it's all ok, all the ****-weak options he's taken over the years, even though it's been bantered on and on about all these great fighters he want's to take on when he travels/or have ducked him are fine because the choices he made were "$ calls".
You said "post of the year" to Jets post stating no heart and no guts so yes you agreed with the comment....I guess I need to add selective memory to the stupid hater comment
Thats all well and good. If you dont mind, show me why he is a wasted talent? You admit he should have stepped up and taken harder, bigger fights. Why didnt he? He performed admirably in the fights you mentioned. Still doesnt do one single thing to prove he was a wasted talent though. Mundine not stepping up was on HIM. He had no excuse or reason for not doing it. That my friend does not equate to a guy who didnt get the most out of his career. He chose not to for a reason...he knew his limitations and was scared of the competition. Making a business decision to fight local comp or imported stiffs is what it is. You cant have it both ways. He wasnt a wasted talent who didnt fulfill his potential. He was a talent, who had a ceiling and knew it.
Mundine's huge ego drove him to the Ottke fight before he was in any way prepared for it. Ottke didn't even know who Mundine was when he challenged him, but once Ottke's camp saw the PPV figures Mundine was pulling they were only too happy to oblige. Mundine's peak was in mid 2006, when he beat Green, and for the nearly 5 years since, he and Khoder Nasser have methodically milked the Australian boxing public for every easy dollar they could. During that period Ash, you got on here and repeatedly dribbled away about big fights on the horizon, and 2 and 3 fight progressions that would lead to big fights. World titles! World dominance! You were fed endless propaganda and bull**** by BOXA because they identified you as an expendable hanger-on, and you were so excited by these 'industry insider' scoops you trembled with excitement as you posted them here at ESB, one after the other! The penny final dropped for you Ash when the Waters bout was announced, and then the Wood bout rumoured to be next. 'I'm off the bandwagon until they make a big fight' was your comment at the time. Well they never have Ash, and they probably never will. But you are so starstruck you just keep living and breathing the BOXA bull****!
The heart and guts relates to choc being this so called waste of a talent. Show me where the heart and guts is evidence that he wasnt? In the fights you admit he didnt step up and take, where's the heart and guts in that? Remember he is only a wasted talent for not fulfilling his potential. Tell us why he didnt fulfill his potential, and in the same sentence factor in what a beast of a fighter he was. I dare you.
In my view he was a talent who didn't reach the big fights in his prime due to risk reward $$$$...so is it not fair to say a wasted talent due to $/ promoter issues?
Choc showed heart and guts fighting the guys I said.....I never said choc was a beast of a fighter mate. Mundine is part of the management/ promotional team around him as well as the fighter Risk v reward was always going to impair Mundines career more than the average fighter because he made so much cash off average fights....therefore the risk v reward for large fights on other promoters cards didn't make management sense
