    He makes a good point. I thought Top Rank was going to out run Golden Boy because of Pacquiao and Bob Arum making everybody come to Top Rank to get a fight with Manny, but this article makes a good point.
    GB has 3-4 potential cash cows
    Canelo
    Khan
    Ortiz
    and Mayweather and Haye do bussiness with them

    Then of course you have Marquez staying with them. It seems Golden Boy has a bright future and Donaire may be coming soon

    Everything that has ever been written on that website has been utter bull****. I expect this article is no different. GBP undoubtedly had a better weekend than TR, though. Ortiz redeemed himself while JML embarrassed himself.

    yeah that website is super biased, but they had a good point. Golden Boy has a lot of fighters bringing in good numbers.

    Top Rank has Manny and Cotto though and they are 2 of the 3 biggest draws

    It's probably true that GBP have the best prospects and stars right now. It's funny how quickly things change though, because I remember a short while a go a thread on here saying that GBP was "far behind Top Rank" and a "failing promotional company". A couple of wins and losses and that seems ludicrous to say, but, at the time, it was probably accurate. That's how quickly boxing can change and in the space of a couple of fights, it changes the entire picture.

    I personally wouldn't too much into the way things are right now, but, instead, focus on the bigger picture. Arum has always managed to make stars whereas GBP aren't as proven. I think the competition will go on for a while yet but I think it's fair to say that GBP are closing the gap. What I want to see though, is how well they promote a guy like Canelo.

    GP & TR are the best promotions to go with.I think GB as all the young cash cows and TR has manny.

    Top Rank has Rigo, Gamboa, Donaire, Montiel, JCC Jr, Cotto, Margo, Rios, Jones, and the cash cow in Pac.

    I don't think anyone is beating them.

    come on, how long has it been since ortiz quit (beat and overrated berto) and Jacobs getting KTFO? and isn't Kirkland GBP as well?

    Top Rank knows how to build its fighters. They Did f*ck up the Gamboa Lopez showdown. Oh well..insert Nonito into picture here.
