Cool, now you agree.:good Nothing gutsy about fighting stiffs here for big money instead of testing himself overseas against bigger names and better fighters. Umm, no its not fair to blame the promoter on anthony being a wasted talent when anthony IS the promoter and staged all this garbage himself. You sunk to a new level of dumb there. Another :good for that.
His peak was in mid 2006, and for the nearly 5 years since, he and Khoder Nasser have methodically milked the Australian boxing public for every easy dollar they could. I think that better sums it up than '$/promotor issues'......but nice try Ash.
Well choc is one of three in the promotion team then add matchmaker George Reno so it's not all his own plans....
hold on mate.Choc was a wealthy individual before he became a boxer.his manager Khoder had 1 client him if he wanted to take pay cuts,go overseas to prove he could match it with the best as he has said he would do he could have.
Ottke was the weakest SMW champ at the time - what did he end up having, 6 KO wins on his record, 4 of them by TKO, his win over Mundine just 1 of his only 2 cold KO wins? It was Mundine's arrogance and desperation to win a world title in as little time as possible that made him fight Ottke. He obviously thought it would be a stroll in the park for him, plus he thought Ottke 'hit like a girl' so it was no big deal in his mind at the time. Mundine had to fight Kessler otherwise the circus ride would have been over. If he had ducked Kessler at that point, it would have been far too blatant and he would have lost all PPV backing. If Mundine had so much 'heart' that he willingly rematched Wood, why didn't he rematch Kessler and Geale? Neither of them brutally KO'd him like Wood did, so why did he duck them? If it was all about risk vs reward, why did he pay Wood another $100k to come down to MW from SMW for their first fight only to be brutally KO'd? Keep backpedalling and spinning ash, you're not fooling anyone.
You cant be that nieve. Choc is boss, stop sharing the blame for his limitations. If he was serious about fighting anyone of note he could have attempted to. You think if choc really wanted a pavlik fight, khoder or george could have stopped him? Erik morales specifically wanted to fight maidana when he had offers for other guys. Thats why you saw the war that was morales v maidana.
Yes mate choc is the boss and he makes a call on what's presented by the team....you think choc flys to panamar and meets with the WBA to map out the fight plan...you got no idea
Erik morales made a call on what was presented by his team. See the difference? So choc is boss but khoder and george have final say? Im not sure if you are managing fighters or not, but if these idiotic posts are an indication of your expertise, you wont be up for any awards. If you took more than 10c from a fighters purse you'd be overpaid.
Sorry you canyvkerp up mate....it looks easy to understand....khoder chases the options....George brings in the names and recommendations and choc and Tony will say yes or no....what's hard to understand?
"Hi Choc... Hi Tony.. Here's a list of names for you" "Thanks George, let's have a look.. Fighter A is Too Hard... Fighter B is Too Tough... Fighter C can fight like a demon.. Fighter D is on his the rise... Fighter E can punch.. Oh, here we go, Fighter F.. Is he still alive??" "Yes, he's almost 80 though" "Great. Get a contract on him"
So choc can say yes or no. Thats what i said dummy. You are agreeing with me again.:good How about you start remembering what you wrote. atsch I understand everything here, you are confusing yourself in your own dribble. Its funny having you agree with me and accuse me of not understanding anything.
