List some fighters you feel should be above them? American boxers fight top competition usually to other American boxers. THey dont sit in Germany and fight scrubs on rigged cards. :good

Why is JMM ranked ahead of Robert Guerrero? Take JMM out and put in Bhop;especially if he beats Pascal in the remix. It would be no different than Martinez Vs P. Williams.

Because hes fighting at HW and therefore should be ranked how dominant or effective he is at that weight... If he moved back down to cruiser then i can see you making a case. But unless Adamek can beat a Klitchko, he doesnt belong near the top 10.. See difference with Holyfield was that he beat qualiity big name Hws and defended his title quite often.

With Vitali,Segura and Mares closing in.. To bad Mares fight with Agbeko got cancelled an impressive win might have leaped him over Wlad and Ward.

Why would you rate RIgo and not Gamboa then? Gamboa has proven at least as good vs better opposition... Rigo went life and death with Cordoba.. Cordoba is a pretty good fighter but hes not better then Salido... Although Salido gave Gamboa a tough fight.. It wasnt nearly as close as Cordoba-Rigo.. And if you wanna rate on potential well chances are, given their age, Gamboa will go further than Rigo.

Bute is not Ward's equal, he is far better. Just take a look at the way both fighters managed to win their fights with the same opponents, Miranda and Bika.
While Bute destroyed Miranda in 3 rounds Ward needed 12 rounds to make it. While Bute outboxed Bika and wins confortable having no problem all night, Ward struggled in every round and didn't win convincingly, even more I think he lost that fight.

Who else has Ward beaten? GREEN? This guy is weaker than Miranda ! Just because he was in Super 6 that meens he is good and everybody else who are not are tomato cans ?

Ward has just one "big" win over Kessler, but that Kessler was in the worst shape of his life and half blind, he was not the man who fought Andrade, or Calzaghe. This win means almost nothing in this circumstances. Bute's win against Andrade by KO in 4 means more than Ward's win over a blind and weak Kessler.

Bute ko's Ward in 7 by liver surgery. Eat this ! :fire

Andre Ward has been entered into the Ring magazine top 10 P4P ratings at #10. This appears very bias to me as Ward only has one good win over an unwell Kessler, who was never in The Ring top 10 P4P ratings to my knowledge. Ward hasnt got as good an overall SMW resume as Bute, but The Ring put Ward above Bute after beating Bika a fighter that Bute beat years previously.
Ward hasnt even beaten anyone since Bika yet all of a sudden he is put in the P4P ratings. Why wasnt Ward put in after his win over Bika, if thats what the Ring think is worthy, rather than just all of a sudden over 4 months after his last fight?

Froch should be rated below Ward in the SMW ratings as he lost to Kessler but Froch has never been seen in the P4P ratings for his wins over Pascal, Taylor and Dirrell.

Kessler the 2 time WBC & 2 time WBA champ with the best active SMW resume was not seen in the P4P ratings

V Klitschko is more deserving in the ratings in my opinion.

D Haye won WBC WBA WBO Ring CW titles and the WBA HW title with many away wins in around 24 fights yet is not in the P4P ratings

Z Erdei an undefeated 2 weight world champ with a better resume is not considered in the P4P ratings

In my opinion, this isnt the first time that The Ring mag has looked bias to Ward consider -

You had Bute as the #1 SMW and Ward at #2 etc. Now for Ward to have gone to #2, he beat then #1 Kessler, when he wasnt in the top 5. After the win Ward rightfully went above Kessler but Kessler is Wards only big win and overall Bute has a better resume than Ward even though not better than Froch or Kessler, so Bute became #1. Now Kessler beat Froch and was #3.
Froch beat Abraham coming off a loss and the Ring put Froch above Kessler after Froch had just lost to Kessler. Then Ward beat Bika a fighter Bute had beaten years previously and the Ring put Ward above Bute and made him #1.

Now this is where it seems strange to me.
The Ring is an American based magazine which understandably focuses on American fighters. Now America at this time have NO Ring champions.
Well chances are that the Super 6 final will be between Froch and Ward. Well the Ring sometimes lets the #1 against the #3 be for the Ring title.
It looks like the Ring has a plan in that if Ward was #2 and beat Froch at #3 he couldnt be a Ring champion and if Froch won he couldnt be either, but if they make Ward the #1 for no real reason other than for a win over Bika who Bute had already beaten they could make the winner the Ring champ and fight for their title.
The Ring had no reason to put Ward above Bute or Froch above Kessler. Ratings are supposed to be based on results.

I agree Bute hasnt fought the top guys yet but look at resumes overall, and note Andrade was in the top 5, the first time Bute beat Andrade

Bute beat Bika - better than Ward,
    Miranda - better than Ward,
    Andrade twice,
    Joppy,
Zuniga, better than Cloud and Cloud beating Zuniga has put him above Dawson
    Brinkley
Berrio - Holds a win over Steiglitz
Magee who is a European champ and was world rated fighter
You could also note Mock, Tatvosyan and Salem

    Ward has beaten
Kessler - A very good win better than any name on Bute resume but remember that Kessler was an unwell fighter
    Miranda
Green - who lost to Miranda
    Bika
Next Abraham on a winning run of 1 injury victory and then 2 losses the last being very decisive
    You could also note Buchanan

Now Wards victory over Kessler isnt better overall than Andrade twice, Berrio, Zuniga etc
