American boxers are no longer top competition.

Ward might turn out to be elite, but for now hes just another in the long line of American boxing saviours, most of whom have been exposed as HBO/Showtime hypejobs, Lacy, Dawson, Cunningham,Pavilk,Ortiz, Berto,McClellan, Grant,Judah,Areola etc etc

Finally he is on the list. He will be number 1 P4P in a few years. IMO is will go undefeated in the Super Six.

Yes the competition is still far superior to europes... Euros top guys(mostly former amatuer stars) are the only good ones after that there talent and competition takes a big drop .. On the whole lets put any euro countrys top 10 in with USAs top 10? Best fighters still come from this side of the hemisphere USA,Mexico and Latin America.. Euros are just a little piece of the greatest fighters in the world.

He wasn't. That's why he got his ass handed to him the way he did. This was all just a matter of time. As a matter of fact, overdue.

The bay area's on the verge of having three top ten pound for pound fighters in the world.

Pavlik was top ten p4p just for beating Miranda and Taylor, and now Ward is top ten p4p for beating Miranda and Green....
Hopkins, RJJ and Taylor were all top ten p4p but just because Abraham, Froch and Calzaghe beat them - it don't mean sh....t................

US-fighters are the best because they fight other US-fighter.....US logic :huh.

    WHo you talking about Guerrero?
If you think about it California has 6 guys (maybe Guerrero) in the top 20 Nonito,Bradley,Ward,Segura(lived here since a young teen and learned to box here),Mares,Guerrero and a load of prospects and contenders... Damn thats more that most countries.

**** euros wanna talk about american boxers, but California alone is better than any euro country.:yep

When calzaghe beat Kessler he didnt get half as much credit as Ward does for it lol, Froch beats pascal, dirrell, taylor, AA and is regarded as lucky and overhyped. Im willing to bet a lot of money that if Froch went onto beat Ward then it will be put down to Ward having a bad day. Why cant we just treat a boxer for what they do and not where they live. Calzaghe stayed at home a lot and beat kessler and gets blasted for it, ward stays at home and beat kessler and is highly praised for it. Froch travels world and fights anyone and is tolerated and classed as overhyped, Glen Johnson travels world and fights anyone ans is the Road warrior.

Hopkins lost to Taylor twice, didn't beat Pascal but beat DLH and Pavlik. Froch beat Taylor and Abraham (who beat Taylor), Pascal and some how i think he would beat Pavlik and suddenly DLH (Froch vs. DLH - just thinking about that fight is absurd really).
    Hopkins a legend.
    Froch a Eu-bum.

THats not true Calzaghe got big time praise for beating Kessler,, And there are 2 reasons Ward is highly regarded or just cracking the top 10.. One is although Boxing has some very great talent at the top, its thinner around the 10,15 area.. Probably more so than ever.. One other is Ward is an obvious talent and he dominated kessler, more than Calzaghe did... The same Kesseler who beat Froch a year or so later..... One other thing you tallk about Froch traveling the world, well he got a hometown gift over Dirrell.. Yes the same Dirrell who gave Froch the blue print to beat Abraham... And one other thing Glen Johnson is Jamaican not american, and is been doing this world wide tour since Froch was fighting in amatuer tournaments..... SO quit your whining:crybaby

It wasnt whining it was an objective view, and i said i wanted everyone to be treated the same no matter the country. You try to sound clever but you really are just sounding bias.

facts are facts, how can you give props to someone who refuses to leave thier front-room to fight? ward has had this whole tournament rigged in his favour from the very beginning, he doesnt have to fight overseas once! not once!

Believe it or not ODLH would outspeed and box the ears off of a MW version of Froch (and no im not kidding). Pascal wasnt peaking yet.. Taylor was whuppin Froch before, Froch landed a hail mary luck bomb. And Taylor was washed up anyways, especially when abraham kod him.

.. I dont see what the whining is about. And how you can even compare Froch to Hopkins, your bringing up Hopkins career as an old man (which is still awesome) and forgetting his career at Mw and his win over Tarver.Lets see how your Carl Froch does against Old man Johnson:yep
