Once again, IB is right on. Plus, in my 35 years walking this earth, rarely is a heavyweight fight considered the FOTY. Typically, smaller weights bring more action, more punches thrown, and more punches landed than the big boys.

I honestly, don't think a Klit will ever be in a FOTY candidate. Neither will Mayweather.

Cant see it, one of them is going down hard, probably haye unless he gets lucky. Haye may resort to borderline and beyond tactics to win this fight if it starts to go against him and it will be up to the ref to let him or not, could be important in the end

I dont think haye will be able to back his talk up, hes a total spoofer as far as i can see

    Come on man...

He GOES down from not even gettin hit.

OF COURSE he's gonna get up.

In the Purrity loss, he went down from a FEINT!!!

How the **** are you not gonna get up?

In the Sanders fight, in the second knockdown, he went down WITHOUT EVEN getting HIT!!!

When he gets up, he has no intention of fightin. It doesn't take much to keep him on the ground.

    That's why ya'll can say...

"Wlad's never been legitimately knocked out."

Well no ****, the mother ****er falls to the ground on his own willpower.

    That doesn't count for heart.

You'll never see Wlad in a fight where his eye almost gets popped out like his brother. Wlad doesn't have half the heart of Vitali.

    Wlad is a BULLY.

If Haye hits him hard enough, NO WAY WLAD gets into a WAR.

Wlad will preserve his face by falling to the ground like a coward.

Who gives a flying **** about MailBua, a stupid pastey finnish twit who does not know a thing about toughness. Everyone knows he's a joke, as are most other fins on the forum, this dude keeps on talking about "kicking" the Russians arses.

He forgets to mention that Swedish kings established a rule in the Northern Crusades in the 12th century, where Swedes actually TOOK what is now Finland and owned it, the swedish language settled over there and during the medieval time, swedish became the dominant language of NOBILITY and education, whereas finnish was mainly the language for the peasantry, clergy and outright uneducated people.

Forget MaliBua, he talks about Tysons toughness yet one of his favorite fighters are that pastey Fin Amin Asikainen who's been KO'd on several occasions by sub-european level fighters

Maybe boxing extends beyond patriotism and nationalism, do I have to like Swedish fighters above others?
I don't, why would I, because I share something in common with said fighter?

Boxing is an individual sport, and individuals will always win the love of the people from their hard work and dedication to the sport, regardless of their color or nationality.

Maybe because I am not a fan of fighters based on where they live and what their skin color is? I am a big fan of fighters from all different ethnic backrounds and countries around the world. I am a fan of Wladimir Klitschko because I have been following him since the Olympics and I could tell that he was going to be a world Champion. I also enjoy his fights, because as a boxing fan, I enjoy watching any fighter who can dominate his opposition the way that Wlad does. Controlling space, tempo, distance, completely demoralizing his opponents, takes their heart, their will, and then stops them at a rate higher than the likes of Foreman, Tyson, Lewis, Frazier, Louis, Dempsey, ect.... Personally, I don't see how anyone could dislike him. Especially given the fact that he has a great personality to go along with it.

My point with Widdowmaker is this.

Let's say Larry Holmes was fighting and in his prime today and was reppin the US real hard.

Who you think Widdowmaker is gonna side with?

Keep in mind, this is the same guy that beat up an entire group of black dudes.

My personal prediction for the fight: Haye gasses after about three rounds of throwing a bit, but not landing much. Wlad spends the next 6 to 8 rounds pawing and grabbing even though he could take him out with the slightest bit of aggression.

Finally, when Haye is so ready to go a stiff breeze might knock him over, Wlad steps up with a 1-2 and gets a TKO late.

Nobody, their best active fighter (Robert Helenius) is.... wait for it... wait for it.... OF SWEDISH DESCENT! :rofl:lol:

Finland never had an impact on the sport of boxing and never will, unless they actually take fighters from other nations and claim it as their own.

Alright, I'll take your word for it...

But damn, I really hope for your sake that Haye beats down Wlad. Not that I'm a huge fan of Haye, but the hate he's been getting is unreal.

I think this has a better chance of being Most Boring Fight of the Year than anything else. It would be great to see a really good fight, especially since both Klitschko fights will be on HBO, which is actually good for the sport if the fights are good, I think the VK-Adamek fight will have much more action though, but still not close to fight of the year.

    But to topic..

No way it's going to be FOTY. Neither guy is a brawler, which suit perfectly for my taste. Those fights produces damaged goods.

I'm not 'rescuing' anyone. We both probably find you as a piece of **** that you are.
