Almost all writers are unanimous in saying that Pac and Floyd's stamina is about even and rightfully so since both live a healthy lifestyle and are considered gym rats. The question is, if Floyd fights like Pac do you think he has the same stamina to fight at the same pace from beginning to end? We all know that if Pac fights like Floyd and pot-shot himself to victory he could easily fight at least 20 rounds for sure :good Thoughts?
I doubt Floyd can fight like Manny. No doubt he would gas but he doesn't need to he makes people fight at his pace, where he stamina is top notch.
i think manny has better stamina, because he can fight a full 3min 12 rounders.letting his hands go in every round i think he is full of energy with higher workrate. :huh well im thinking does the fighter with the higher workrate mean they are in better conditioning then the other guy.hatton has a higher work rate then floyd but i think he is better shape then floyd.got think on it more but i still think manny has more in the tank then floyd.but its not like floyd would run out unless manny was all in his making him fight.even then i think mayweather would calm all that **** down with jabs counters and straight right hands.
About even. Also Manny doesn't go hard for a full 12 rounds either. He fights in spurts, he just has a higher work rate than Floyd.
I think you gotta go with Pac becuase the way he fights for a full 12....he uses an awful lot of energy. Floyd has great stamina because he paces himself.
Whatever Floyds stamina is, it works for him. I dont think he can fight at the same pace as Pac does as thats not what he's used to, but then again he doesnt need to, he controls the pace of the fight, kinda like Bernard.
The logical answer is we really don't know. It's all speculation. I get the impression that both are about even. Floyd could never fight like Manny because of his hand problems. Not because of stamina. If Floyd had to fight like Manny could he do it? Sure because he would properly prepare himself to do so. He's very professional when it comes to preparation.
There's absolutely nothing to indicate that Floyd couldn't go steady with straight action for twelve rounds. He's never had a stamina blip throughout his career. If anything, his hands would be what held him back.
