The Ring put Ward at #2 after Ward beat Kessler so read on, as Bute has a better overall resume to Ward and has beaten a fighter rated at #3 at time of his victory

The Ring had Bute as the #1 SMW and Ward at #2 etc After Ward beat Kessler. Now for Ward to have gone to #2, he beat then #1 Kessler, when Ward wasnt in the top 5. After the win Ward rightfully went above Kessler but Kessler is Wards only big win and overall Bute has a better resume than Ward even though not better than Froch or Kessler, so Bute became #1. Now Kessler beat Froch and was #3.
Froch beat Abraham coming off a loss and the Ring put Froch above Kessler after Froch had just lost to Kessler. Then Ward beat Bika a fighter Bute had beaten years previously and the Ring put Ward above Bute and made him #1.

Now this is where it seems strange to me.
The Ring is an American based magazine which understandably focuses on American fighters. Now America at this time have NO Ring champions.
Well chances are that the Super 6 final will be between Froch and Ward. Well the Ring sometimes lets the #1 against the #3 be for the Ring title.
It looks like the Ring has a plan in that if Ward was #2 and beat Froch at #3 he couldnt be a Ring champion and if Froch won he couldnt be either, but if they make Ward the #1 for no real reason other than for a win over Bika who Bute had already beaten they could make the winner the Ring champ and fight for their title.
The Ring had no reason to put Ward above Bute or Froch above Kessler. Ratings are supposed to be based on results.

I agree Bute hasnt fought the top guys yet but look at resumes overall, and note Andrade was in the top 5, the first time Bute beat Andrade

Bute beat Bika - better than Ward,
    Miranda - better than Ward,
    Andrade twice,
    Joppy,
Zuniga, better than Cloud and Cloud beating Zuniga has put him above Dawson
    Brinkley
Berrio - Holds a win over Steiglitz
Magee who is a European champ and was world rated fighter
You could also note Mock, Tatvosyan and Salem

    Ward has beaten
Kessler - A very good win better than any name on Bute resume but remember that Kessler was an unwell fighter
    Miranda
Green - who lost to Miranda
    Bika
Next Abraham on a winning run of 1 injury victory and then 2 losses the last being very decisive
    You could also note Buchanan

Now Wards victory over Kessler isnt better overall than Andrade twice, Berrio, Zuniga etc

Its an answer that has some understanding but I couldnt call it correct as The Ring advertises itself as the bible of boxing. The bible of boxing would indicate that it focuses on all fighters of all nationalities and countries.
Would you say it makes it correct based on that answer to elevate a fighter 4 months after his last fight when he wasnt as conclussive as another fighter rated similar to him, against a common opponent?

Ward is in his prime, well rounded, versatile, intelligent, and fast as hell. He beat Kessler who beat Froch in his next fight. He's a gold medalist and the odds on favorite in any fight in his division.

Maybe so, and he might go on to be an ATG, but that doesnt explain, the highlighted parts in red

Ward would be the P4P number one if RING magazine weren't biased.

like he said, "It is an American magazine for American readers covering the American market, some bias is inevitable, even in the world rankings."

now if it makes you feel better to complain, then proceed although you should really tell someone who could make a difference...

Ward is the best boxer in the world bar none and should be ranked number one.

The only reason he is ranked so low is him not being a Golden Boy fighter.

Post #15 was going along quite well until it hit the delusional patch about Hopkins being a top 5 P4P fighter.

At that point the whole thing just turned to ****.

Im pretty sure Dirrell was mentally messed up from Arthur hitting him whilst he was down, nothing Andre did.

I never agree with Bailey but this time I got to, Ward has done nothing to warrant top 10 p4p status. I'd be hard pressed to put him top 20, ridiculous to have him top 10.

Tim Bradley shouldn't be in there either. B-Hops should. Pascal should based on wins over Dawson and drawing B-Hops.

    Bias is terrible
Look at who Pascal has fought in his last 3 fights
    Diaconu
    Dawson
    drew with Hopkins

In Hopkins last 3 fights he has fought
    Ornelas
Jones coming off of a first round KO
    drew with Pascal

Yet so many think Hopkins should be in the P4P and not Pascal (though I noted you said both should be).
