I've abandoned the "Shane Gassed Out" theory a while back. he threw about the same through the fight but he stopped throwing with a lot of purpose and commitment once he realized he wasn't being effective. He tried to hang in but couldn't. And hell, Marg was there for him to tee off on.

 

He wasn't and won't be. He wasn't gassed against Floyd, he was outclassed. The guy has been doing his best to get that stigma off of him. I'd imagine he wouldn't be dumb enough to juice again.

 

No i meant his workrate didn't really drop against Floyd. I'm absolutely not comparing his workrate against Marg to what he did against Floyd. I'm not really sure how you got that out of what I said.

Floyd will take your confidence. Pacquiao will fight you. Shane does better against people that try and fight him.

 

Mosley's old and he was never a great boxer to begin with......

Short of a prime Mosley, he needs to incorporate boxing vs another PED user who's in his physical prime.
.....Mosley at this point in his career is not going to outbox a zig zagger like Pacroid.


.......so even if Mosley was juiced vs Margarito, Mosley is outright a better boxer than Margarito, and so that and hte possibility that he could have been roided(just to go along with what the thread starter is asking) helped him.


Just look at Pacroid, his PED use did'nt deter what a master boxer like Marquez was able to do against him.:deal

PED's help a fighter physically the most, boxistically speaking, PED's is not going to give you "know how" vs a better boxer than you are.

 

mosley didn,t need to be on anything to deal with margarito,a guy that can only fight one way coming forward is easy even now for shane mosley pacman will likely fight him in n out even though he would prefer to come forward as well.the other thing is floyd had mosley beat physically + mentally around 4-5 rds thats why he looked gassed.mosley is still a very good fighter

......you mean more like boxistically. Physically Mosley was in his weight class and could compete. Boxistically, Mayweather in comparing him to Mosley is in another stratosphere.

 

It wouldn't do anything significant. PED's don't make you younger.

And Shane doesn't have a stamina problem. Let me say this again, he doesn't have a stamina problem and never has.

Once Shane landed that right hand against PBF, he went from throwing a jab in the first and 2nd round, and sliding side to side and back, to standing in one spot, playing the feinting game with PBF which he can't win at his age.

If you stand there looking for the big shot, trying to out feint PBF you are going to get hit. That is all that happened.

If you guys knew the sport you wouldn't have to simply repeat what every announcer says on TV.
