hows the wild bull and big jess do against george? does george get knocked out of the ring like jack d. did? does willard take a worse beating than dempsey gave him? lets say all three are prime.

Willard might have a chance against a young Foreman due to his stamina, durability and power. Foreman may be able to put him away early, but if he doesn't Willard might be able to turn the tides. Firpo would probably get demolished. Both sluggers, but Foreman just far more skilled, and harder hitting. Firpo might manage a KD.

Over 20 rounds, I'd favor Willard. He was the closest thing to superhuman, bar Jeffries, a human could get when he was motivated. Big...HUGE actually, solid jab, deadly power in his right hand, granite chin, and superb conditioning. Easily one of the most overlooked HW champs in history.

Foreman taks both out early. But Willard stands a chance of surviving the early onslaught (however slight).

Willard's tough, but gets stopped early, like within 5.

Firpo makes Forman look like Willie Pep in defense and overall skills... Firpo gets ****ed up bad.

Willard could get seriously ****ed up by Foreman.

Firpo gets his licks in but outslugging Foreman is too tall a task.

Willard definitely has a bigger chance than Firpo, but he was never in there with as big a man who hit as hard as Foreman. On the other hand he can test Foreman's stamina if the fight (and his chin) does last, but I can't see that happening. There's no proof that he could take a Foreman punch on the chin.

Did everyone see what Jack Dempsey did to Willard? I like Dempsey better than Foreman, but he was not as strong or as powerful as Foreman. We all saw how much Dempsey's power effected Willard. I can only imagine what kind of impact Foreman's power would have. Especially against a tall stationary target like Willard, Foreman would just tee off on him. It would be a slaughter. Foreman TKO 1 Willard

Firpo got get demolished. Again, Firpo loves a slugfest and he is going to run into a man who's bigger, stronger, and more importantly...much more skilled. Firpo looked like an amatuer compared to Foreman. Foreman would crush him early..just like Dempsey did...except he would finish fipro in the first round.

    Foreman KO 1 Firpo

That´s the way I see it too.......Willard was a target for Foreman punches....Even more crude than Foreman and he has a jab, but it's not as effective as Foreman´s.......Foreman by early TKO

I agree with you on Firpo too.....

Foreman to KO both but not in as sudden or dramatic fashion as Dempsey did - I think the thing that got Willard with Dempsey was (before any if the knockdowns) Dempsey's great movement and speediness around the ring in and out switching angles and drawing a lead from Willard and then it was the speed and explosiveness and pin-pointness and in reality the fight should've been stopped after the 2nd knockdown at the very most - Foreman had neither the handspeed or preciseness to do that or the speed of foot to open Willard up like that

Firpo matched Foreman in size and brute strength - Foreman was about as crude and limited a champion as I've seen and Firpo as crude and limited a challenger but both had about as much natural power that they relied on - the difference being Georges championship calibre - I see a Foreman Lyle type fight with George prevailing

Willard was out of condition and rusty for Dempsey, to be fair.
Foreman was nowhere near as fast as Dempsey - that needs to be noted too .

Still, I'd take Foreman to beat Willard, but it might go several rounds. Foreman's stamina becomes an issue the longer Willard survives his onslaught. And Willard showed he fights back whatever punishment he has absorbed. So it's an interesting fight.

Foreman would make short work of Firpo. In a wild brawl.

  13. The Willard who got knockd out by the 190 pound Dempsey has a chance against Foreman? What a bunch of dumbasses. Both of these jokes get knocked out in 1 round by any verision of Foreman

  14. RockysSplitNose Foreman is cruse? But that **** sucker Marciano wasn't? As I another ignorant racist ass white boy who shouldn't be in this forum talking boxing to began with.

Willard was durable and had stamina and that may be 2 factors that work against George and if you try and compare Foreman to Dempsey, Jess was not prime and Foreman was not as fast as Jack...Firpo may be able to land against Georgie and may have had him down like Lyle did but I do not think he would survive 2 rds because he was also easy to hit...both fights would not be without danger for George but Willard has the best chance because of his superior stamina
