I see what you're saying here, "ped's do not help an athlete gain stamina.":nut:nut:nut:nut

Just answer that simple question without beating around the bush and dodging the question alltogether, do PED's aid an athletes stamina?

I've thought about this as well . If you look at shane's body too since the Marg fight he hasn't looked the same. Maybe he just got old overnight, who knows , but you can definitely tell his intensity, power/speed, stamina all went down after the Marg fight.

Whichever Mosley showed up in his last two fights it sure as hell wasn't this guy:

You could say it has to do with styles, which is part of it, but shane clearly looked way better here physically. Faster, stronger, more snap on his punches. This Shane would have finished Floyd. Either he hasn't been training the same way since, he got old overnight or something else. I don't know enough about PED's to be accusing anyone of anything. Make of it as you will.

You made some good points;;; However it just wasnt that alone.. Mosley turned back the clock that night... Shane was only 75% OF THE PRIME Mosley that beat ODLH the first time when he fought Mayorga,Cotto.. No one can convince me that it was Margos style that made him look so fast and devastating. Even though i will agree that Shane style is wrong for Margo, he turned back the clock that night......... I really believe that the Shane who fought Floyd , would not go thru Margo... In fact i think hed have a tough fight.

i blame mostly shane's inactivity going into the floyd fight for his poor performance. aside from floyd just being more skilled than him. i don't think shane was on roids against margarito. margarito was just there to be found. i see pac-shane as a more competitive fight in that shane will be more at home with pac's style. against floyd, he clearly was uncomfortable.

This thread is stupid, and all who think like you are seriously lacking in the "intelligence" department.

Of the recent, known steroid users, none looked good. Off the top of my head are Fernando Vargas, and Mr. Obvious, Shane Mosley. Against De La Hoya, respectively, neither looked good. Vargas got smoked, and Shane won a debatable decision. Others? Steroids do not increase stamina, nor speed. Your thinking HGH... anywho, my point is steroids aren't the drug of choice for boxers seeking an edge. At least from a combat standpoint. This is my opinion, and I'm no doc, but those fights speak volumes about the steroid/performance argument.

If Mosley is on peds, you can rest assured there's nothing stopping emmanuel from being on his own peds. This is what happens when you refuse to test because you're afraid of needles and drawing blood weekends you.

I didn't ****ing say that. A simple "Oh, you're right, I'm a moron who doesn't know how blood works" would have sufficed but you decided to tell me what I feel about PEDs.

I'm not an expert on them, I can only say what research shows. Yes, EPO increases red blood cells and in theory increases oxygen delivery. But with more red blood cells, your blood thickens and it won't move around as well. You're better off using high altitude training to increase efficiency.

LMAo apparently shane read this thread and felt the need to respond.

"Not accusing anyone of anything, but what if Mosley is on PEDs for this fight and fights Pac like he fought against Margarito, with that type of stamina? What if Mosley WAS on something against Margarito and is on the same stuff when he fights Pacquiao? How interesting will this fight be then?"

MOSLEY: "Ha-ha. I get worse stuff on Twitter. It's lies, lies and more lies. Don't listen to that. The performance enhancer was a past thing. That was 2003. It's been asked and answered. Some say if I beat Pacquiao, the issue will die. But they said the same before I fought Margarito, and people are still talking about it."
