Is it just me or does Lewis look taller than Wlad there?

Wladimir insists he's 6'5 inches tall although he is usually listed at 6'6. Either way the difference isn't much.

Perhaps Wladimir put his lights out in the ensuing riot and killed Lewis's confidence for the first Rahman fight. Maybe not. On hindsight it's a shame the fight never happened.

Would have been an interesting fight for a few rounds, until Lewis catches him with a big shot that is...

If it was Wladimir instead of his brother who landed those right hands on Lennox, it would of been sweet goodnight. Lewis was seriously shook up, as hurt as he's ever been outside of the two knockout losses ;)

Anyway, both fights between Lewis and Rahman are worth watching. Lewis really showed who was boss in the rematch, that right hand was ****ing crazy.

Yup, I watched it again and it looks as stupid now as it did when it happened. Guess the "mummy" defense never really caught on.

Rock's corner telling him to stretch the arms out was one thing, but him listening was even more absurd.

What a horrible excuse of a heavyweight title fight . The build up was great, that PPV was exciting until Glass was Shattered.

Hasim and his team of thugs thought history would repeat itself, thanks to Don King's glorious offer. 5 years later to be strung along by vitali & nearly 8 years later Waldo's defensive wizard-ry. Poor Rock, into the heavyweight obscure he goes.

Just copped the new issue of The Ring and it has a section called "The 20 greatest one-punch knockouts of all-time". Rahman's knockout of Lewis lands at #5 on the list.

Surprised it's not top 3 material! But close enough.

I know Rock has been inactive now for 6 months (wtf?!) , curious if he is done or if 2011 is another tomato can year.

I think Lennox Lewis and Emanuel Steward's attitude to the Rahman fight was disgraceful really.
I saw them both on TV talking bull**** about the high altitude not being a factor.

They come across as greedy arrogant individuals.
I guess that's why they are successful though !
But this time they ****ed it up.

Steward and company is usually on the winning side so it's kinda funny when hi fighters lose. He is the best at what he does but this shocker of a KO was hilarious.

Rock was game on the 2nd fight but what a difference. The rematch reminds me of the days when Hasim coulda/shoulda been a elite level fighter for many years to follow. Before he lost what little speed he had in those punches.

I actually called this upset. Lewis had issues with right hands. Rhaman, was at his best then, just coming of a win over Sanders. I had the fight 2-2 before Rhaman landed the bomb. Lewis backed up to the ropes, smiled, then BOOM. The interview with Merchant was classic.

Always funny when fighters smile after being hit - a sure sign of pain.
