Zsolt Erdei is another who deserves more repsct and credit, hes an undefeated former 2 weight world champ that had a better LHW resume than Dawson who was a recent P4Per. Completely off subject but read below. You may see where I am coming from

Think Dawson hasnt beaten a fighter rated above #2 by the Ring as Hopkins hogged the #1 spot for ages, and Erdei has a win over a fighter that beat Johnson, who nearly beat Dawson and that was Dawsons big win.

In another thread in which Americans were being bashed, Europeans of various sorts were insisting -- insisting! -- that Juanma is an American.

Why? Because they wanted to include Juanma among the recent list of American fighters that have been knocked out.

So it seems that if a fighter gets knocked out, he's American. If he's a world-beater, then he's not (he's Phillipino, he's Puerto Rican).

Can you imagine, though, some of these fighters that train in America, you know, Pacquiao, Sergio Martinez, Donaire saying: "I want to go to Europe to train, to soak up the European style, the high guard, the plodding footwork, the arm-blocking. I want to learn from the masters. I'm going to train with Ulli Wegner. I will join his stable, spar with the best high guarders, the Sturms, the Abrahams, the Sartisons, the Dzindiruks. I want to spar with the best. Training in America can only take me so far. I need Wegner and the European style to get to the next level."
