How many rounds will he lose to Adamek in September? He isnt in his prime any more, but he is in top shape and dominates every single opponent he faces.

Will Adamek's speed and activity play the role in that match?

Vote in the poll and post you opinions.

edit: according to SportsLeader, Vitali lost one round in 2004 against Corrie Sanders. So will Adamek give better performance and win more rounds? Is he going to win only few rounds (1, 2 or 3), or may he make this fight competetive?

Aside from these, he rarely faces adversity in his fights, and has beaten everyone he has fought post-Lewis decisively.

I think Adamek will pose some problems, I mean, who hasn't Adamek troubled? And considering the fact that Vitali is getting on now age-wise, it wouldn't surprise me if Adamek gave him some trouble early on. I expect a Vitali win, but not by KO, and I expect him to drop a couple of rounds along the way.

:good Doesn't really mean much. What you are saying about Vitali basically dominating his opponents still applies.

True, i get the essence of this thread. Adamek has the tools to trouble him, but what bothers me the most is that he switched Shields to bloodworth, who doesnt seem to further improve adamek against taller guys.. And if they're determined to show up for the win, they simply HAVE to work on lengthening the punches. I know shields would of known this, dunno what bloodworth conception is.

Vitali will lose no rounds to a mere mortal like adamek...he will land his famous temple punch of doom thus shattering adameks legs and possibly his arms as well. Vitali ko 1.

I like Adamek a lot. It's impossible not to.

But... I was trying to think of how he would take a round against Vitali, and couldn't see it.

Adamek doesn't have the style or quality to beat Vitali. Vitali beats him in about 6.

Dont you think that Vitali is quite old? In September he will be 40yo. And Adamek is better fighter than any opponent Vitali fought recently.

The only way he loses to Adamek is if he becomes an old man and Adamek outfoxes him. Adamek will not ko the iron-chinned Vitali but he holds a speed advantage that he should continue to use on his bigger opponents. Too bad the Solis fight showed us nothing of Vitali's recent state as that was only 1 round. 1 very slow-paced round I might add.

Depending how long it goes, he might win a round or 2...but he still loses the event and the fight.
