What an arse warren is, first the midget, then the Afrobum now. Nicky cook there below euro level never mind world level. No doubt it'll be 60 quid a ticket again. I am a massive fan of rickys and would love to go to one of. his fights but only if he's fighting some one world class, I hope a lot of people think like me and boycott this fight if it happens.

One thing that pissed me off on here is people blaming Ricky and billy for these opponents, the blame lies squarely with frank and Morrison. People only do it to get a rise out of billy cause he posts on here.

thats not really remotely feasible though is it? Uchiyama cant fight for the WBO title and with the time differences and nobody in Japan knowing who Burns is and no one here knowing who Uchiyama is, seems pretty unlikely.

someone in the ring top 10 would be decent, someone ranked in the top 25 (IBO) would be an improvement.

I wouldn't particulary have a problem with this fight had cook been active following his defeat to Martinez. But he hasn't, and IMO doesn't warrant the shot at the moment. He needs a warm up then a Live opponent before fighting burns (burnz? In the ghettoooooo). Sunning himself telling us all on twitter what fish he's been eating in Tenerife.

 

This is news to us about cook although we'd relish the fight no problem! And then we'd take Sykes the next day lol then maybe Ricky would be seen as the best uin UK lol

Ricky, as a title-holder, should be looking to be seen as the best in the world - not just the UK. Fighting the woeful opponents he has been is downright shameful. A tune-up after Martinez was understandable, but we've had (as someone else put it) an afro-bum since, then we're getting another soft opponent next. And now we're looking at another never-was in Cook who lost the title to the man Burns already beat. Farcical.

Billy, you come across as bullish, arrogant and slightly delusional. You're like Olu G Rotimi without the spell-checker.

Why isn't Ricky pushing for a better opponent?

 

What does Cook bring to the table that Burns should box him,NOTHING.There is bigger and better fights out there for Ricky.
