    17 and already beat olympic silver medalist ken egan
    and world bronze medalist in poland multinations last week

    Ward is a very good kid indeed!! I'm tipping him for a medal come next year!! Hopefully he'll still be able to maintain 81kg then cos he'll find it very hard at 91kg, there so much bigger at 91kg, if he is given time to adjust and grow into the weight though it should not be a problem, the Irish have a fantastic setup over there they really do.

    when you look at the size of there talent pool you have to really give massive praise to the coaches and staff, they are a fantastic team and feared in Europe by top nations!!

    he did indeed, i thought he edged it but 1 point good showing, just beat two olympians in the Belgrade tourny so still hope he can make Olympic
    squad.

    For sum reason Tony t kids cumin through are unbelievable compares t years gone by although ward is without doubt d pick of d bunch.he's loOkin huge for d weight so its goin t b hard t maintain for the next 15 months

    Very well said tony. Zaur antia, the georgian who trains the high performance team, is a genius and easily the best amateur coach I've ever seen

    Josh tonight won Gold at the Belgrade Winners Tournament in Serbia, beating opponents from Uzbekistan, Hungry and Mongolia. Also picked up Best Technical Boxer of the night following the semi final stage.
