You're just wasting time talking non-sense because Pac will kill himself fighting at that weight.

funny because he called out Prime Mosley, Kosta Tzyu, offered a fight to Margarito in place of Judah and asked to fight Cotto but his people said he was too green

These lists fry my brain, they really do. On the Duran subject I rate the win over SRL very highly and also consider his showing against Hagler as very impressive.

I ask myself if Pacquiao blew Mayweather away would it boost Manny more than it would dent Mayweather?

I think Pacquiao like Duran would be fighting above his weight against Mayweather, who would have a size and reach advantage, but I don't see Floyd going on to acheive what a SRL did should he lose to Manny.

Probably best to wait and see what unfolds until their careers are over .....

still the fight didnt come off, he didnt fight them for whatever reason resulting in a thin resume(than it should have been), mayweather even said that it was a good think that he didnt choose to fight margarito because he got found to be using illegal handwraps

yeah I know what you mean, but people have a bad tendency of looking back seeing fighters missing from Floyd's resume and assuming he's the reason it didn't happen.

Who do people blame for B Hop and James Toney never fighting?
Aaron Pryor and Sugar Ray Leonard?
    Mike Tyson and Riddick Bowe?

sometimes the money just isnt right, mosley wouldnt have got alot for fighting floyd which was a risky fight, but mayweather would have had a good pay check of $8 million agaisnt margarito.
regarding tyson and bowe- both had short primes and they were about 5 years apart.
Pryor vs SRL-big risk for SRL against a fighter who never during his career got the recognition as a great fighter meaning SRL(a great) could have lost to a pryor who was a good/elite level fighter but not an all time great

    the final question is:

is Pacs record as good as someone of the top 10

Duran beat Esteban, Sugar and Barkley> that were his tuffest opponents (the only world class) the rest of world class fighter he faced he got beat

Pac beat Morales, Barrera, Marquez, Hatton, Margarito> the rest of world class opponents don't count, because they were either weight drained or at the end of there careers.

So in my eyes Pac's equal the Sugar win with his wins over so many mexican legends. Overall also his competition/win fact is better.

so what if Manny loses to Mayweather? where does that put Mayweather? just asking because it seems one win over Mayweather greatly elevates Manny atg status, so what would one win over Manny do for Mayweather? top 25 atg? top 15?

Most people have a win over Mayweather moving Manny up only slightly.

Duran has a win over a guy who's in a lot of people's top 10 atg at his best weight in his prime.

SRL is the best welterweight we have footage of.(SRR has little to no footage there) but he lost to Duran. That shits on Barrera, a controversial split decision to Marquez and past prime Morales

You have Hatton but no Cotto, leanord beat hagler, benitez, hearns, duran, who were greats, pac beat marquez once barrera twice and lost to morales once and beat him once(am talking about prime). Pac even if he beat mayweather wouldnt be ahead of leanord in my opinion.

If Manny loses how does that affect his atg status as well? does he stay around top 25 or top 30? or does a loss send him tumbling down the rankings since a win would sky rocket him to the top? shouldn't it work both ways?

depends on how he loses. By beating Floyd, it wipes away a lot of question about him.
If he gets schooled against Floyd, it reaffirms those claims about him
