A British boxer who broke their opponents down

    What British boxer springs to your mind for being known for breaking their opponents down bit by bit? For me Paul Ingle is one.

    For me it's Herol 'Bomber' Graham - he'd make you miss, frustrate you, spin you off balance, tap you with silly shots, then when opponents would start to lunge he'd put some power into his counters and step it up. Mr Duff rarely made mistakes but the way that Herol broke down poor Rod Douglas was masterful. Douglas had beaten Benn in the amateurs and was undefeated as a pro, he barely hit Herol.

    I totally agree with you there about Herol, aswell as making the good look bad.
