Never once was Floyd busted up or tired in a fight and that speaks volumes. His defense is maybe the best ever. Even the great Pernell Whitaker has been dropped and a few times busted up in fights and his defense was second to none. Floyd's, sparring partners and ex opponents ( like Chop Chop) say Floyd just loves to jog and stay in shape.Floyd, maybe is 25 yrs old in terms of boxing years as a result of this. Since 1998 he has been in the P4P top 5 (that 3 decades). Whether you like, love or hate him you can't deny is achievements.

He really is incredible at avoiding punches. To go a whole year without having a single punch landed on you is truly remarkable.

  4. he was pretty tierd in the first castillo fight towards the end he was not a happy bunny in there , but your right hes never been really exhausted or beat up and i dont think anyone is denying his achievements ?

I was gonna say, he got a little busted up in the Emmanual Burton fight. That was a competitive fight regardless of waht the scores were or what the biased commentary was saying. Then there's the Castillo fight.

He looked tired against Castillo in the first one, and when he was more exciting he used to bleed from the nose from time to time. Never badly cut or swollen though, then again African American fighters seem to cut and swell less even when they get hit a good amount of times; look at Mosley, Hopkins, Leonard, etc.

I thought that Castillo won but it's a shame to use the compu box to prove it

and when he finally retires i guess it didnt matter that he happened to be at the same weight as a few guys that will go down as the best of the best from their generation that floyd didnt fight... cotto, margarito, pacman
just because floyd has hall of famers on his record...it kinda helps to have beaten them when they were actually still a FORCE and not a name... ever heard of kevin mcbride? he beat up mike tyson.... 38 year old tyson....and floyd beats up 38 year old mosley, 37 year old marquez, 36 year old dlh, even though baldomir was a 1 win pony, he was ****ing 37 too...if they arent 35 and up, floyd aint to interested :deal
