The snap may be back for now but come friday night it may be gone and with the hangover on saturday it will definitely be gone. Pavlik is too one dimensional to really be a force even if he does get the snaps back
"I got caught up in the partying part. When you get caught up in that you're going to have stress and unhappiness at home. I was caught up in everything that was involved, and I had to make a change. If I can't drink anymore, it's not going to make me unhappy. We nipped it in the ass before it got to late." (Kelly Pavlik)
-Translation- My wife threatened to divorce me and take half my ****, so now double jab Jack hides the Vodka in my water bottle.
I will believe it when I see it. Any semi slick boxer should feast on him at 168. Congratulations to Pavlik for getting through his rehab though.
Some 'reading' material from the front page and the local paper for those interested. Prefight conference call and a bit more in the local paper. http://www.vindy.com/news/2011/apr/23/pavlik-only-looks-ahead/ http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=27811&more=1
You dont judge man by what he attempts, but what he achieves. Kelly Pavlik will have to achieve in order for me to judge him at this stage of his career. He was an absolutely entertaining fighter in 2007, I miss him.
I can most certainly judge a man by what he attempts if what he attempts is more than most ever even bother to try.
Kelly Pavlik has shown he's got what it takes to be a champion, if he truly is back and if theres any truth to the statements coming from his camp then we'll see by the time he steps in the ring won't we? I like Kelly Pavlik, he's somewhat similar to Paul Williams, he comes to fight. I miss him, I hope he can make a successful return to the ring, but we'll all have to see, and most of whats written on him is just bollocks. We'll never find out where he stands untill he's in the ring.
OK. I'll just take issue with your initial phrasing then since it was probably a bit terse. I do the same thing. I know what I mean (most of the time anyway) and expect others to be on the same train of thought sometimes. But yeah, phrased this way, Kelly needs to back up what he is saying about camp with action. NO DOUBT about that. :good
