:nono A good friend of mine fought at bantam and Jf .. He had a draw with Tapia.. He probably is weighing about 150 now, but believe me he kicks ass on about 95% of guys out there... Ive sparred with him (and i have amatuer experience) he hits hard enough, knows which way your gonna move or feint before you do.... Ive seen him put out a dude over 6-1 and 250 lbs. If you are not a trained fighter or trained in the past, i guarantee hed kick your ass.:yep Dont care if you are 6-0 plus and 200 plus.

Basically any 180+ lb BJJ blue belt or accomplished wrestler would destroy him. Especially if they knew to be wary of his hands.

The average chump on the streets stands the best chance against the minimum weights

Malignaggi is much bigger than a 105lb-er and has speed, skills and combination punching on top that. The answer to this thread is not Magic Man :bart

I'm not saying he'd be the best, but Shannon Briggs would be a mean ****er in a street fight. In his last street fight he knocked out two guys with one punch, or so he says

How can a heavyweight be the worst??? In real life Byrd would be a big guy- add his speed, reflexes and skills and you've got a guy who would **** up >99% of normal people with ease.

While I understand this whole, the minimumweight boxers would be the worst...I'd feel real sorry for the guy that enraged a prime Michael Carbajal.

Only way would be to take him to the floor but even then more times than not hell get off first, he still keeps in shape and trains... Even a non puncher pro,, hits hard compared to the normal guy.... Im a muscular 200lb (could lose about 20lbs) and had 18 amatuer fights(about 20-25 years ago) and i couldnt take him unless i somehow took him down, but more times than not hed light me up... He is a jailer and is always getting called out by beligerant or drunk inmates.. He says he enjoys kicking their asses, when they come at him in a threatning manner.... Said he only needed help from fellow officers once:lol: The guy was huge. Like i said ive seen him fight so i have no reason not to believe him.

When Ruben Castillo made a comeback at LW back in the early 90s.. He said he used to spar with Carbajal,, And said his punches hurt. I bet Carbajal would ko the average joe.

oh yeah in a street fight, a boxer or ex boxer could do what he wants punch at the back of the head etc. wrestler, jj player whatever, if they get punched by a boxer, in the stomach, face or back of the head, they gonne feel it...often boxer have good footwork, so easily a wrestler wouldnt catch a boxer. and dont give me that example with fat toney...because he was way paaaaaaasssssssssssttttttt prime and fought a guy who was multiply ufc champ

Yes,, He had to retire because he was in serious car accident and suffered head injuries and almost didnt make it... He eventually ended up okay, but the doctors said hed be risking his life if he, kept fighting and suffered blows to the head... He was a very good boxer, not a big puncher, but hit hard enough to get respect... Fought like and experienced contender despite only having 8 or 9 fights. Also excellent chin, the ko loss was a but that opened up a bad cut, but they said it was a punch and stopped it against Kid Akeem(great fighter)... He was fighting Kid evenly when they stopped it.. Also should have got the win over Tapia, ive seen it several times with other friends and no one thinks Tapia won. Last fight was a loss to future JF champ Fabrice Benichou, who had to much experience.

people forget that most boxers come from the streets and are usually fighters at heart.. A good portion of fighters are also good street fighters.. My friend is one of them the reason his dad got him into boxing was cause as a kid he was beating up all the kids in school.. NOt a bully he just liked to fight.

    boxingrec for the win

Even the pros whose records don't seem that great on paper can put serious hurting on normal people

You dont wanna be with the "runners". They'd be clinching when they get hit and there'd be no referee to break them apart. They'd get mauled.

I find this thread quite idiotic, you're talking about TRAINED fighters.. just because they can't do certain things in the ring doesn't mean it's going to hold them back on the street
