Round 1

Ramos jabs to the body, staying outside and tight-guarded. Jackson tries to line him up with his long 1-2 and Ramos counters while turning him, landing his right well to the head and body. Ramos comes surging forward lobbing body shots. Jackson is just sticking his jab out into the maelstrom to hold Ramos off rather than trying to cleanly counter punch. Jackson gets consistently backed up by the body flurries. Jackson now starts dropping low and jabbing long. Big right by Ramos; KTFO!!!

Jackson is out on his back under the ropes!!!!!!

Knocked the **** OUT!!

Wait...no. Hit on the break, according to the ref. Illegal blow.

Jackson is still out of it on his butt a whole minute later.

Replay - yeah, it was kind of on the break. Defend yourself at all times. :nono


Round continues after a VERY long delay of 3-4 minutes. Ramos keeps applying pressure and banging the body.

Round 2

Ramos is scoring with his low jab as they circle. Jackson's longer shots are straight but a little slower. They clinch. Ramos lands a LEFT HOOK ON THE BREAK AGAIN! atsch

Point deduction from Ramos; on the verge of a DQ loss.

Ramos keeps slamming Action Jackson with his 1-2 while pressing him around the perimeter. Jackson is dipping and ducking on the outside, trying an odd long jab but overall eschewing offense. Ramos gets inside and inches his way forward on his toes as Jackson inches back. They're beginning to exchange a bit now. Ramos landing left hooks to the body well. Jackson is covering up on the ropes, bad body language.

9-9 (10-9 Ramos minus the foul point).

He seems to still not have fully recovered from that KD in the first...so we may be rid of him soon.

Actually, reinforcing that sentiment on a more compassionate note - even though he's acting like a douchebag I wouldn't want to see anyone take prolonged damage and risk neurological problems by going the full 8 rounds after getting rattled that badly.

 

Round 3

Ramos is all over him, but mostly doing body work. Very little headhunting, which is probably why the KO is getting delayed. Jackson is switching stances, backing up and popping soft right jabs, and clinching when Ramos rushes in on him. Nice combos to the body by Ramos, uppercuts and left upper-hooks. Jackson looks tired. The body shots are paying dividends. Jackson is leaning over at the waist and grabbing Ramos. Sustained body attack. Jackson tries a big hard right hand but telegraphs the hell out of it and Ramos just steps off to the side. Double left hook stuns Jackson.

Round 4

Ramos is working that left hook to the body. Action Jackson is left-jabbing out of the orthodox stance, looking unsteady but still keeping his left low. Ramos comes barreling in and pummels him with pendulum shots to the body, folding him up. Jackson is moved around the ring getting absolutely creamed underneath the ribs. Jacksons looks ready to go. NASTY triple left hook; 2 downstairs and one grazes Jackson's face as he tries to use his right glove to deflect and defend. Ramos keeps putting hooking shots together and making Jackson bend over. Jackson gets beaned with a left hook atop the head while doing so. MASSIVE body shots, make Jackson turn his back. Again Ramos doubles him over with a hard combo. JACKSON SPILLS INTO THE MIDDLE ROPE, SNAPPING IT!!! ROPE BROKEN!

Knockout?????????? The referee counts and they CUT TO COMMERCIAL!! :fire:fire

Back from commercial. Apparently Jackson spit out his mouthpiece while down and had a point deducted. WTF?

They're fixing the ring rope. Another LONG delay.
