Pernell relies of reflexes more than Floyd does. Pernell is slicker, but I think Floyd's is more efficient. I can watch a Withaker fight and see him get hit every now and then. When Floyd gets hit once, people make multiple threads and video about it because it's so rare.

also Floyd's defense in the pocket is better also

I didn't say Pernell didn't use reflexs... I just said Floyd uses them more simply b/c he has an abundance of it. Pernell absoluely had great reflexes but he use defensive SAVVY moreso than Floyd. Floyd fights more defensively than Pernelle. Meaning he stays mostly out of harms way, keeping his man on the outside where he can capitolize on his opponents mistakes while staying far out of range for any offense that would be coming back at him. Pernell was so good defensively and had natrual instinct that allowed him to stay in the pocket without getting hit, which in turn helped him offensively b/c he was always in position and range to rally off shots after making his man miss.

There's not a soul in the world that would agree that Floyd is better in the pocket...nor is there any evidence or proof to support it. YOu look at REAL "POCKET FIGHTERS" and you think of guys like James Toney or Sweet Pea....you don't think of guys like Roy Jones or Floyd mayweather. When you think of those cats you think of ULTRA talented boxers with a lot of tools that others just weren't blessed with.

I'm not saying Pernell is better in the pocket, but I'm just stating Floyd is less hit there
Compare (Also I know Mcgirt is way better than Chavez)

Amazes me people who argue with racist/biggot terms, they lose credibility fast. I actually agreed with Relentless on that.
Who really cares, I don't think even people that don't like Floyd know he's good, he's a great fighter, all fighters along the way have close decisions maybe they shouldn't have won, it happens.
Burton is the best fighter I've ever seen with a losing record, he fought everybody, that was a tough fight and he gave a lot of big names a really tough night, he's one of the most exciting guys to watch in boxing, or was, he's over the hill now and beat up.
The only thing that matters is Floyd needs to fight Pac, that's it, if he does it and wins I will consider him and all time Great, if he doesn't then no, he's just a great boxer, not an all time great, he can cement his legacy by taking the fight and winning. This is a winnable fight for him, he just has to decide, am I willing to put in the work? How bad do I want it? I still think he will take the fight for his love of money, no other fight will come close to that payday, but he's loving all this going on while he sits back and waits to make the fight on his terms, its just the way the guy is, his terms or forget it.

of all the guys who held titles at a time when floyd was available to fight...this guy was the number 1 dude for a few years and avoided like the plaque.... when you put it that he was young, had titles, feared, heavy hitter and HBO talked about it for a year wanting to know when floyd was gonna fight him...but floyd being the cherry picker he is, fought zab, who had just lost to a 37 year old guy no one heard of...then floyd fights the 37 year old guy next...**** margo, **** cotto, **** anyone that has a shot of kicking floyds ass...floyds fighting the has been guys that were great a long time ago
