Leal's a good fighter man.

 

Round 7

Leal lands a few lefts in a clinch. Leal left in a corner RM flurries out. Good inside stuff shoulder to shoulder. Leal setting up the uppercut but cant get it flush. They tie up. RM flurry. Left to bdoy RM. Left by Leal right hook to body. Nice cross by Leal. RM low blow. RM flurries upstairs Leal hits him with a left. Leal attacks the body. 20 to go Leeal on the aatack. RM fires back exciting finish

68-65 Leal good fight so far if he can land the uppercut he can really start to open this up. RM flurries nice at times but doesnt seem to do much damage though his lefts downtairs and rights are hard

 

Round 4

Leal lands the southpaw 1-2. Marroquin is backed up; Leal flurries. Leal is boxing nicely now. Marroquin is throwing when he's in range but is getting outmaneuvered and eating jabs. Left cross by Leal. Marroquin gets tagged with clean power shots. Big Leal round; this is only going 10 and Marroquin is digging a ditch.

RM attacks with the righjt hook Leal fires back. Good exchange. RM great left hook and another to the body. They fight in a clinch. Good left hook downstairs by RM. RM flurries on the ropes. Good exchanges in the center. Exchange ends with big uppercut by Leal. Leal hammers him on the ropes to end the round

Marroquin is kind of flashy I guess, but mostly arm punching. Leal seems to be here to whoop some ass.

 

They will both be feelin' this one tommorow.

 

Round 5

Leal jabs with his right. Marroquin starts to slap his way inside. Leal gets moving and lands his southpaw 1-2. Marroquin getting outboxed and missing loads. Leal moving and popping that cross. Marroquin answers with a few quick flurries downstairs. They trade to the bell.

Round 6

Marroquin fires jabs high and low, circling left. Leal drops a right jab to the body, squatting on the outside and trying to trick Marroquin into coming forward. Marroquin throws a hard right set up by a double jab. Lead left by Leal. They tie up and Marroquin complains of a possible headbutt. They punch together and again clinch hard, almost butting heads. Marroquin is backed up by a left hand. Marroquin is throwing less now, but getting more accurate and landing hard.

And my prefight pick was dead wrong. Looks like another April upset in works with 6 minutes to go.

Round 9 is a war big punches they both trade and commit. The finish was strong from both

Leal holds and hits. Leal lining up that straight left. They lean in and Leal works him over on the inside. Leal grazes him with left uppercuts. Clinch. Marroquin keeps trying to score to the body but Leal is too mobile. Leal keeps banging him with that straight left.

10th and final here it goes. Leal left puts him on the ropes. RM flurrying away showing desperation. Left hooks to the body and he is throwing at the head and pushing it down. Right hook Leal. Good exchanges inside. RM is attacking the body. RM has him on the ropes and continues to hit the body. Leal fires back in the center. RM flurry and then a Leal flurry. RM fighting hard trying to win. Nice 2 hooks by Leal. Leal fires away at the 10 second mark. RM fires away at the ropes as time expires

I bet nobody's watchin' cause it's not p4p stars.....but these dudes give it hell.

 

Round 8

Leal leaning in and hitting Marroquin up close. Marroquin doesn't like the pressure. Marroquin tries to flurry him away but can't. Leal good at snaking his arms around Marroquin's and hitting him at short range while pushing down with his elbows against Marroquin's arms. Leal the much better infighter, and also better on defense. Marroquin's flurries are ineffective, just shoeshining off the backfoot. Leal grabs him and whacks him behind the head, unseen by the ref as he spun him the other way. Veteran move. A little dirty. :yep
