Idk if it's been said yet, but Andrew Golota would be a wrecking machine in a street fight I should think.

doubt it. most street fights are fist fights, or at least start out that way. Boxers would have the advantage.

Dirrell would run, hold, fall down on the street, and complain, but that would not help him at all, he would get killed!

Vitali Klitchko and Arthur Abraham would both be deadly in a street fight. I can't see how people would say different if they've ever boxed + been in a fight outside of the ring before.

Almost any pro boxer (even one with a only 2 fights pro fights) wins most street fights against your average joe. About the only way is a lucky punch (and any decent boxer there's not much chance for that) or simply wrestle them down (and even at that most average joes aren't strong or in good shape).

I would say the best fighters...The ones where there's almost no shot of victory against in the street would be guys that are fast starters, quick punchers, good reflexes, and get the job done in a flash.
The guys who are slow starters, not so good reflexes, etc *could* be beat.

Watch any fight, any street fight on youtube, even when like 2-3 people fight a guy who knows how to box. He throws punches like a madman, and everybody is standing there like UHH.....Is this Chuck Norris' cousin or something? Hard to even engage a guy who just threw a bare knuckle 5 punch combo at you in a flash (even if your still manage to be on your feet at the end of it). These people just freeze, but could you imagine Pac throwing a combo at you? That dude would light you up!
My pick for best would definitely be Pac. Fast starter, extremely fast hands, a determined individual with a tough upbringing, a good chin, and I wouldn't bet against him vs the biggest of guys in an alley.

The contrast of MMA and boxing is irrelevant. Both are sports which involve trained athletes. Operative word here: trained; as in, people who constantly think of, live for, and making a living off of combat.

Even if it is just one component of combat, these persons become highly specialized at whatever it is they do. Against someone who never or rarely does that, especially not formally or with careful physical (here's lookin' at the bar room "toughs" who have beer bellies and like to go off in rants, namely in public places, to their friends so as to act and look tough, talking about how they'd "ought to have laid that guy out" (but didn't); and are the poster children of what kind of body is opposite that of athletes') and mental concentration allocated thereto.

Also, to the people who said intelligence doesn't matter in a street fight, why shouldn't it? Please consider the stupidity of your statements before making them. Hopefully that'd embarrass you enough, just for thinking of such, to refrain from voicing such. Seriously. You hurt everyone else's intelligence.

Or you can keep on thinking the way you do, and find yourself in a street fight... with someone who is "smart" and thus not a fighter. Obviously the two are mutually exclusive. Likewise, you can think Floyd Mayweather (or any other small pro boxer) wouldn't whoop your ass in a fight. Go on ahead. He likes to make himself visible, and enjoys frequenting certain clubs and venues. Try your luck, and I assure you it just wouldn't end well for you.

Believe it or not Zab would be a good street fighter... Hes super quick and starts fast and can punch.. THats a big thing in a street fight... Zabs biggest flaw has always been his meltdown later in fights and his so so chin. THat would not be a factor against a non trained fighter.
