Without the Klitchkos we would have had 8 years of the heavyweight division lacking a single, skillful fighter.

 

The Klitschkos are good... i like them. They are boring as **** but excellent fighters and respectable people.

Only thing that annoys me about them are the crowds they attract. People who go to see Klitschko fight are not fans of boxing just fans of the K bros and see it as a party event in Germany. When the K bros retire Germany and similar European fans are going to f off and then there really wont be anyone paying attention to the Heavyweights

Probably but the heavyweight division has never been about skills. If you look at the most loved heavyweights stylistically, you think about guys like Jeffries, Dempsey, Frazier, Marciano, Tyson and so on, not Johnson, Tunney, Ali, Charles or Lewis. That's just the way it is. In every other division, skills are appreciated but people don't want that in the heavyweights, they want brutality. George Foreman once said "Boxing is like jazz. The better it is, the less people appreciate it" but I think that's only true in the heavyweight division where the fighters are expected to fight, not box.

I think the heavyweight division would be better off if Adamek, Haye and Arreola were the three best. They may not be as skillful but they'd deliver better fights.

While I agree to what you are saying to a large extent, the current level of talent is just too low. Even the slugfests are embarrassing. Haye is obviously a good fighter, but most of the guys in the division aren't even solid fighters. Adamek shouldn't be as successful as he is. I'd be happy if there was a foundation of good fighters, but we don't even have that. I don't think we'd be better off in this era without the Klitschkos.

 

I dont know anything about Klitchko sisters, who are they? I know something about Scotish women, who are even ugliest then cows in Poland or Ukraine
