I heard he vacated not sure why? Can he not make the weight anymore? I know John has always struggled mightily with weight or is he getting a world title shot?

Anyone know the story behind this?

Because Rees was made mandatory contender so in order to fight Mitchell he has had to vacate the title so Rees will now fight for the vacant belt I believe

Also, Mitchell couldn't fight for the EBU without having a tune up.

I don't think he does 'struggle mightily' at all.

The Mitchell fight will probably be an eliminator.

I wont be shocked at all if Gallagher forced Murray to vacate in order to avoid Rees and this talk of fighting Mitchell is just bs designed to take away criticism of Murray for avoiding Rees. There is nothing confirmed yet from what I can tell against Mitchell, So we will probably end up with no Rees or Mitchell just another Cab driver as well always get with Gallaghers fighters.

Forgot about not being able to fight for the EBU coming off a loss either eliminator or some intercontinental bollocks

Warren's release clearly stated both Murray and Mitchell have signed for a summer clash

I believe the Mitchell-Murray fight is an eliminator for the WBO title.

It's terrible how white, chavy, making a name off Khan's back Murray is. Truly awful. Is that what you wanted to say Taco Bill...sorry Maxwell? Be honest now.

Look forward to Murray vs Mitchell.... Finally Murray will step up a level, I expect Mitchell to win though. Hope this will be main event and on normal Sky, although given that it's a few months after Frank Warrens big card in May it could be filled with some of Franks big names from his stable (which I hope to an extent) but may mean it goes to Box Office (which I hope not).

He'd need to do better than that to make it PPV worthy.
    I pick Mitchell to win.

Sounds good to me.... Watching Bellew is always exciting, and it'll be nice to see Saunders too (if it is televised). Obviously I'm sure a few more will be added but I guess it won't be on box office.
